Domodedovo airport is located far from seas and mountains but rather often the air overthere is very turbulent that makes flying (and especially landings) be not easy trips.
We were prepared to face with large airspeed changes and discussed it on the briefing, making special additions to the stabilized approach awareness, but to be honest, only after watching this video I saw how large they were at appx 500 feet AGL just after I disconnected the autoflight.
This landing forced me then to thought a lot about the modern view on stabilized approach criterias - according to them the approach had to be terminated and a low altitude go-around had to be made. But...

отличная работа! Браво. как раз 15 января летел первым рейсом из Питера на s7. Погода в Домодедово была ужасная. Снег, метель, ветрище. Самолет мотало во все стороны точно так же. Режим двигателей менялся каждые несколько секунд. Немного страшно было.
Было дико интересно посмотреть как пилоты боролись в те мгновения со стихией! Спасибо большое, что показали. Динамика изменения скорости впечатлила! За мгновения -10, 20 узлов. Ещё раз спасибо за видео. Мягких Вам посадок!

Денис Сергеевич, спасибо за интересный пример. Думаю не очень приятные ощущения, когда такие провалы по скоростям и приходиться "сувать" РУДы. Великолепное чувство самолета, так парировать на посадочном - это на мой взгляд очень сложно и показатель высокого мастерства.

Если рулить хером, то, пожалуй, херня и получится. А сайдстик куда удобнее штурвала. Заметьте - я пилот В737. У меня штурвал.

Никак в голове не укладывается, как пилоты умудряются в большинстве случаев посадить самолёт так, что он ровно по ВПП катится, практически посередине?.. И в этом видео так же, даже не смотря на борьбу с ветром.

Денис, вы офигенны)) вообще, в небо влюблён с детства. Скажите, что значит выражение "директорные стрелки держать"? Толи вместе, толи по центру...
В центре. Если они отклоняются от центра, следует отклонить штурвал в сторону их отклонения, обеспечив необходимую угловую скорость движения по той или иной оси. Например, горизонтальная планка отклонилась вверх - надо взять штурвал на себя, добиться возвращения ее в центр. Или, например, если вертикальная планка ушла вправо - повернуть штурвал в право, создать крен, при котором планка вернется в центр.
Denis Okan понял, спасибо! Ох, как хочется засыпать вас вопросами. По поводу схемы подхода. В DME всегда выполняется 4й перед глиссадой или каждый раз по разному? Меняется схема подхода?

Nice landing Captain ! I just have one question, why do you constantly keep your eyes focused on the instruments ? I know you have the glideslope etc... but I thought that even in bad weather conditions, you fly the approach mainly by looking out the windows, and checking every 1-2 seconds the speed on the pfd.

+Duffay | CS GO | MC there is no need to stare outside too often, when you are flying an instrument approach, especially in windy and gusty conditions, where it is very challenging to keep the airplane inside of the stabilized approach gates.

Очень странная белая ручка внизу все время крутится и странные звуки издает. Как то опасно выглядит. А по руке даст? Там же руку правую все время над ней держите на рычагах двигателей. Может отключить этот рычаг белый чтоб не крутился?
Это колесо ручного управления стабилизатором. В нормальном режиме он управляется электрически - либо автопилотом, либо человеком. Отключать его, конечно же, нельзя. По руке колесо при всем желании дать не может, если только специально пальцы внутрь его засунуть - там есть ребра, которыми да, можно удариться.

Look, if there would be no turbulence, flying will become really boring ) Just keep it in mind and enjoy your flights!
