Clemens Field was a WPA build during the depression. During WW2 it was used as a German POW camp, and the prisoners made shoes in the shoe factory right down the road (one of those brick buildings.) There have been minor league teams there from time to time, the last one was just a few years ago. The area where you used your selfie stick used to be the little league and softball fields.
Hello from the quiet frosty Ozarks Brenton! Another video of value. Hope your well and enjoying your day! Tight lines and bent poles with fair winds and following seas!
Always an interesting side trip. As an aside to voting in this country prior to around 1880 oneman one vote meant provided you were a land owner you got to vote otherwise tough luck you don't count.
You got it. That meant people who guide the country have a vested interest in its wellbeing. On paper, I'm a can of the net taxpayers model. Produce more than you take, you get to vote. Take more than you produce? Sorry, no vote for you.
Mark Twain, Mark Twain, Samuel Clemmons, Clemmons Field, Duh, O.K. It finally registered. I'm told that when They filmed "The Natural" with Robert Redford, They did a search for old Ball fields for a realistic look in the Film.
P.s. You remind me of the old days when I would buy a 6- pack of underwear and socks,too/so I could delay Laundry Day. I've often mused that the worst thing about Divorce for a Man is losing the Washer and Dryer! lol.
I love local stores like the marine one you went to in this video. There is so much local knowledge and lore to be found in them. So what is your opinion on women’s vote???😉
Great to be able to have the extra engine parts and a spare prop. Also Wavey said that she hopes you find a laudromat soon. She likes stinky but this is way different !🦨
You opened a can of worms and it didn’t have nothing to do with fishing. Oh by the way handel that stink bait with throw away gloves or save some for shaking hands with politicians. Lol
I like the marine store find u should document the maintenance on engine id like to see how you fuel that thing too how difficult is it to transport or how many marinas u fuel at ??!
It's so strange to watch you walking around and recognizing everywhere you are. Except for the T shirt shop. Where is that? Somewhere near Clemons field, no doubt. I'm glad that the marine store worked out.
That T shirt shop was a real surprise. It was in one of those old brick factory buildings south of downtown and Back away from the river a bit. Behind where Clemens field is.
I think there's a lot of people who shouldn't vote. Some are women. Some are men. There's a reason the founders of our country weren't in favor of universal suffrage. It wasn't even a thing until the 1920s, after America was like 150'ish years old. The fact that so many people loss their minds to even discuss it is rhe reason I left it alone. Does that clear some things up for you? There's nothing worse than white knights riding up to save "muh ladies!" Gesh
I used to watch the outlaw sprint car nationals in the late 70s @ Knoxville, IA. A little town in se Iowa, now they are so popular ESPN films races there. I had to mention that since you brought them up. So many memories of that when I was 15 or 16 back then. A good time for sure. 👍❤️✌️🙏🇺🇸🚣♂️🛵
Yea women hate when you question the sanity of letting them vote lol
They sure do. Now we all get to have our rights revoked. ;) hard times incoming...
The wall sings That you read this time, I had gone back in the last video and paused to read. The great videos just keep coming. Thank you.
Love those old ball parks!
Never knew so many celebrties were from Hannibal. Good info.

Very interesting, thanks 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Mark Twain would do that! ;)
The Hannibal cannibals
I should probably keep my opinion to myself about that subject too...just saying
Yeap ;)
I have never voted based on looks but this is a deep rabbit hole and we should just enjoy the trip other than keeping books and history intact
I was thinking the exact same thing.
I would have spent $365 in that T shirt store !
Sweet dude

work that walk off the boat for breath. 100 push ups a day for strength. Do them on your knuckles like a punch.
On it!! :) thank you
Did the boat shop have the bumpers you'd been wanting to protect your eaves?
A really nice fella brought us two nice big fenders. We're set. You'll see soon...;)
im sure you asked... but you didnt mention about the "needed" navionics chip , ?!
I have come across one on this trip, but decoded it was less of a need than I thought. Navionics has been working great.
Wait a minute. You are opposed to Women's suffrage?
Remember, I said I wasn't going to comment on that? ;)
That's sad you don't have what it takes to back that comment up.@@brentonsriversidehermitage
@@brentonsriversidehermitage Well, I think you pretty much did! 😳
