- Our first video of a wild camp out in the van. A quick overnight stop locally on #wrynosepass in the lake district, UK. After a steep single track climb in the pitch black and then fog, we bedded down for night after some fajitas and after a peaceful quiet night, we woke up to this sorround) surrounding, what a lovely surprise. It was totally silence all night, and while it was cold, there was no wind at all, so so peaceful. Sadly we had to dash back early so couldn't go walking as I had to take Amika to ballet, but it was worth it for this view!!!

Ooooo we love a bit of the Lakes. We’ve just reached your van conversion vid 🙌🏼, been looking forward to this bit x
Ha, get used to them, it's been ripped out a few times
We found if the can was too cold the gas would go out in our portable gas heater. We used to store them wrapped in blankets when the temperature was minus.
Yeah they are a nightmare when they get cold. That said I've only used it indoors since and it's not been a problem as the diesel heater is on. Good tip though if I do go outside, thank you 👍
That's a problem with butane. Propane is better, but Camping Gaz is butane with a dash of propane, I believe, but not enough to keep the liquid gas evaporating in very cold temperatures.
