Depends on my mood but I basically enjoy both, there's a place for well thought out concise informative styles and then more layed back relaxed subjective chat videos as well.🎮🤓🍀
I enjoy both styles of videos, but unscripted does feel more genuine. I also like it when something is scripted and you can tell someone went off script and just inserted a bit more personality. Just make what you enjoy thats all you can do
I like both types but I’ll try to answer your question better. If the video is one person and they are deep diving into a game then I prefer written video essay style. If the video is two or more people talking about the game then I prefer unscripted as it sounds more natural, like some mates discussing a game 😊 for level discussion on a game; unscripted. Deep diving; scripted. Hope that helps 😂

Scripted keeps it shorter and punchier - but perhaps loses some of the “me”, scripted is more natural - but I’m always conscious it makes my vids longer and more rambling - although I prefer to make them in the more natural way!!
Unscripted. Hard to fake being real and genuine and sometimes channels just turn me off because I see how fake they are on here and then totally different outside.
I used to edit out my long pauses and urm's, now I do it one take, if it's terrible I'll do it again with a better grasp on what I was going to say and just leave it, I find the shorter and more informed it is the better, even if I do go overkill with the urm's, I believe's, you'll love it if's and is great! The more scripted it becomes the less genuine in comes across, you may as well write it at this point and get an A.I. to read it (in a sexy ladies voice obviously) ha, ha, ha! All jokes aside that's the way I see it going in the future, A.I. hosts that you'll think are real till you propose a trade or meet up with them, strange times ahead.
I don't mind scripted if its a review or documentary style vid I'm watching gull buddy but I prefer unscripted where people are talking about their memories, feelings, experiences etc it feels more real. Personally I don't like when you can clearly see someone is just reading off a script
