Antichamber in Minecraft #2: A Jump Too Far

- Another Antichamber level using the Immersive Portals mod. However this one also makes use of command blocks. I'm not super familiar with command blocks so it took me a while to figure out how to make the floor appear below the player as they walk over the gap. But I was able to do it with 5 command blocks instead of the 60 that I initially planned for. I used a simple repeating clone command that only works if the player is over the gap, and their "jump" score is 0. If the player's feet are detected in the upper layer above the gap (meaning they jumped or fell from above), then their "jump" score is set to 1 for a few seconds, causing the floor to disappear from under them.
I got to have some fun with the non-Euclidean art gallery. Some of the boxes are emulating the ones in Antichamber, but most of them are random things I could think to put inside a 3x3 cube.

Thats pretty cool, but i think disabling smooth lighting, or at least setting smooth lighting level to 0% in optifine would make this look a bit more like the game imo

i didn't finish antichamber cuz it was hella confusing and this recreation is damn good
Even if we can't make a map like this, we can use concrete blocks for interior. They are just like single color block and if we use only concrete we can make things that really no feels like minecraft
I don't play minecraft since 2016, and boy, this game has transcended the human being logic more then in the beginning
This is so faithfully recreated it's incredible. And your take on the "museum" displays were amazing, super creative and funny, all at the same time. A million times props to you man.

Wow - I remember antichamber minecraft map back in the 2013/2014. Seeing how big difference is between these to maps and what new options there are in minecraft now, really amaze me! This looks awesome! Looking forward to see more of this map :D

I've tried to build stuff with imersive portals mod too but my braincells can't keep up with the confusion, but you sir are good at that stuff oh boy...
Basically all the videos about it are unlisted by now, but ohaiichun was at one point working on an antichamber mod with the permission of antichamber's Dev, and actually got pretty far, before giving up and never releasing it to the public. The videos also were never public for the most part, but links got out and people found them.
