Also the Elite Beat Agents covers are so good, especially the Highway Star cover! I love how good the songs sound for being on the DS sound card.
6:11 I've never seen a Scott gag more perfectly exemplify how I feel about Nintendo and emulation
Can we talk about the fact that this man never asks for people to subscribe, like holy shit it just goes to show that if you make great content, there isn’t even a need for it
Man gave us a 30 min To compensate for delaying the Christmas special, Scott you are insane
Get ready for 4 more in the next week.
hopefully one is made of spinoffs i really want to see scott yelling at nintendo again in a video not targetted at nintendo
When Scott asked for time on the Christmas episode in exchange for more videos, I did not expect a half hour video like this.
Man is a machine
I would pay so much money to have scott do a whole video on the rhythm heaven series
Every time I see electroplankton I’m like “HEYYY that’s the extremely random wtf stage they released in smash bros brawl that no one ever selected when you play with friends”
20:52 may or may not be an L Button Reference.
It is, the l button “video” is 23 minutes. And May be made because of the video vote Scott did this yeat
Elite Beat Agents being part of the Touch lineup is so funny, to me, considering Osu is directly based on it and Ouendan, and that game is quite possibly one of the least accessible games out there, for an average person.
Weird occasion for Scott to talk about Hotel Dusk, but I take it. The sequel "Last Window" also misses the Touch Generations Logo.
THERE'S A SEQUEL?! Well, apparently it didn't release over here. I hope an emulator will be able to do the trick.
@@TenebraeLux Play it, if you liked Kyle Hyde in Hotel Dusk, you will love him in the sequel.
@@TenebraeLux Hope your emulator can emulate sleep mode
@@Wryyyong Oh...uh. Proably not, huh? But it's not like I can get a copy from Europe at this point, plus I'm pretty sure things were region locked in the DS...
Edit: I checked, there are at least two emulators that have the option of "lid", and one of those is the one I have.
@@Wryyyong MelonDS( the best PC DS emulator) has a sleep mode toggle so really Last Window is perfectly playable on it considering I just beat Ghost Trick on it and it ran basically perfectly
everyone else - lets do a best of 2022 videos or Christmas videos
Scott - You know what F$&k that I'm doing a Touch! Generation video
Scott finally talked about brain age🎉
„dad, can we have a dog“
„no son, 5:02“
I’ve had plenty of these games and paid very close attention to gaming news in the mid-2000s, and have literally never noticed the Touch Generations symbol or ever heard of it.
This episode made me wish I had my copy of brain age right now
Scott is that cool uncle we all wish we had
Yay Scott acknowledged the existence of fossil fighters

Scott's going to get on a list for his harm to Nintendo DS systems
My grandma loved theese games. Especially the "non touch generation" touch generation game. She loved Nintendo beyond Wii sports.
I have suspicion that this was her favorite Nintendo generation as it appealed to her and me a lot. She could play games that her and her 3 year old grandson could enjoy.
She also had an old Gameboy color and a few games. played alot of wario land 2 at the housem
This! The DS+Wii Era made gaming accessible for ALL ages! It truly made gaming family oriented.
*I love that Scott bought glasses just to cut them in half for a 2s clip...* @11:00
🤣
For some reason this didn't pop into my recommendations back in the day, and now it's as if a new Scatt vid dropped for me! That's an amazing feeling!
Bro says back in the day like they're reminiscing on when they were a child.
@@axothegremlin lmao
When I was growing up, I loved pulling on the tug-of-war toy on Nintendogs so high that the dog eventually left the ground due to the toy it was holding on to being too high.
I would then proceed to spin the toy around so fast the dog went flying due to losing it's grip. Those were the days!
You awakened some primal memories in my head I didn't know I had.
I would lift them up with the tug of war toy and swing them in circles if I remember correctly haha.
@@YianKutKu2 Yep! It seemed to happen either when you spun them really fast or when managed to get a pendulum motion that's also fast enough. Pretty impressive for the DS!
I personally love Clubhouse Games. Still got a copy my friends and i use for Download Play every so often. Glad the Switch got a remake
Merry Christmas Scott! Thanks for always being such a positive face to come back to :D
seeing the personal trainer cooking ‘game’ again, and understanding what it was meant as now, is too funny to me. 9 yr old me just wanted a cooking game on the ds, i didn’t realize it was literally just a recipe book.
*clubhouse games exists
Scott:”YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS”!!!!!!
The glasses being broken hurt me on a physical and spiritual level
I'm glad to see someone talk about Mystery Case Files: Millionheir. I put at least a couple hundred hours into that game as a kid, trying to get all the endings and laughing at the fun characters. Yeah, it's just a hidden object game, but it's a great hidden object game.
Same, I remember replaying Mystery Case Files like 10 times back when I was a kid. Very underrated game with an interesting art style and a neat little story to boot.
I cannot tell you how many hours I had on master of illusion. I loved it so much, the solo mini games blowed my mind as a kid, and I loved performing the magic tricks to my family who pretended to not notice the trick. Good memories
20:30 I can only imagine how many shots had to be made to get it just right.
0:07 very cool of Scott to kill all the black eagles for a 2 second gag
20:04 can we just appreciate that he clearly did more than one take of this
Got some dribs & drabs already lol
👍👁👍 good eye!
Edit: the 2nd time he did it looks more like after effects, maybe?
@@favoritemustard3542my guess is that when it sprayed out the 1st time, it wasn’t quite what he expected so he tried again, probably wasn’t much better so he just decided to edited in spray effects after XD
So glad you finally got to this series. I have so much nostalgia for the Touch Generations series. Definitely seems like something Scott would like.
I'm still amazed to this day that Electroplankton got a stage in smash bros brawl.... and that that stage made it back into Ultimate
I love how Scott the woz is getting more literal with his jokes
❗️My Timestamps:
4:11 Her nails💅🏻 are horrendous!
9:07 "It must be a witch!" 😂
20:53 L BUTTON REFERENCE!
21:54 The original soundtrack to 'Puzzle League DS' is AMAZE-BALLS!
24:48 'Magnetica' is known as 'ActionLoop' here in the UK and came with the DS Rumble Pak.
That boxing game actually really must have paid off for Scott since he’s able to cut a pair of glasses in half with some run of the mill scissors so casually. That’s honestly quite a feat!
25:01 I’m absolutely POSITIVE I played that game. Specifically Zuma. Sleeper agent of a memory.
The soda shake joke has to be one of my favorites, it just hits
Oh i had 100 classic books as a kid and was ecstatic about it lol. Honestly for a kid that didnt have my own computer or phone, it was a great little oddity,
23:24 Fidel Castro is now officially part of the Scott the Woz universe
Lol
I'm officially a day older than Touch Generations and Serbia, I'm so proud
8:37 Wouldn't be a Scott The Woz video without him casually destroying a DS/3DS for a gag
I love rhythm heaven for so many reasons, the music is so catchy it scratches my head just right, it's really fun and it was very good at wanting me to get perfect in everything, my boyfriend and I first bonded over rhythm heaven fever, so I cherish that game, I love when people talk about it because it means that we might get one step closer to a new entry in the series
Scott the woz content touches me the same way these ds games do, right in my heart and make me happy. The ds touch screen is a classic and I’m glad that I grew up on them
agreed.
4:20 Nah fam you cant just gloss over that, there's a seaman SEQUEL!
24:26"Oh my god we have a fatality! Not ease of use!!!!"
I'm rolling on the floor🤣!
My parents had half these games you talked about, and have never touched a video game before or since.
scott being a clubhouse games enjoyer is everything i needed in this world
Oh boy do I have a Scott the woz series for you
I wouldn't have it any other way.
After this video Scott will launch The DS Stylus episode next season.
Hey Scott, thanks for mentioning Fossil Fighters. It's one of my personal favorites and seeing it name dropped was very unexpected. I have been watching you're content for quite a while now (my first video of yours was the Switch rumors video) and I have to say I have enjoyed all of it. You clearly put a lot of effort into these videos and their releases always feel special.
He did it. Let's go. Absolute win.
the fear i had when i was modding rhythm heaven megamix and all of the sudden the main megamix theme shows up in the video
1:26 FOSSIL FIGHTERS MENTION. MY PEOPLE ARE NOT FORGOTTEN. WE RISE FROM OUR BURIAL INTO OBSCURITY ONCE MORE.
Looking through for fossil Fighters comments
Looking for jaden references
@@minecramat_yt uhh same i guess🙃
Elite Beat Agents is a spin off of a japanese game series with identical gameplay called Osu! Ttakae! Ouendan! And this was there attempt to bring it over and westernize it .
I saw Barbara for the first time in another Ds game, English Training, which is kinda like a bad copy of Brain Age but for non English speakers.
Barbara was also found only in hidden levels that were artistically polar opposites from the base game and would train you at listening sentences with strong English accent.... and it was surprisingly difficult
Did she talk in it then, or was she just there?
@@ochuspin yes she talked too, and even laughed at you if you messed up
@@Gmododo that’s so cruel
Rhythm heaven fan when someone acknowledges rhythm heaven’s existence: 🥹
These games hold a special place in my heart sometimes you do t need something complex or difficult you just need something fun
I own 4 of the picross s games for a reason
I recall seeing the touch generations logo on a couple games now that you mention it, but I don't see how the branding ever helped in any way at all. Nobody even really knew the context or acknowledged it back then as far as I know. I also recall spending a summer vacation as a kid with my parents in a small town with no internet or television, and all I had was my trusty nintendo DS with a mini sd cartridge that had over 200 random games pre-loaded onto it. Hotel dusk and the world ends with you were two of the titles included on there and it gave me endless entertainment and happy memories for years to come. I entirely forgot abut hotel dusk until now, so thank u bud.
Tetris DS is so much fun. I'm so happy I picked it up back in the day. I believe it's pretty rare and/or expensive now.
I loved Touch Generation games back in 2007.
8:37 11:09 Wow, Scott has been a wild DS serial killer these past months.
I just bought Hotel Dusk for my DSi today, very excited to check it out
