Lacquer Finish - Custom Guitar Build - E06 The Finishing Process

In episode 6 we will get into the finish preparation. This means lots of sanding of course! But don't worry, this video is not just 27 minutes of sanding haha! (Maybe one day as a special feature? 5h sanding ASMR?!) Anyways, the process I am using here is new to me and pretty unique. Spray can nitrocellulose lacquer on brushed grain for lots of tactile structure and texture. The neck gets a treatment of hand-applied oil based poly. Not your everyday-finish, but it certainly looks and feels really nice!
