DuPont Train Crash in Minecraft Animation

- A Minecraft animation depiction on a disaster that took place on December 18, 2017 a few years ago that caused a train operator to derail the entire train that made him unfamiliar with the controls and the route causing the train to derail onto the i5 freeway before everything comes to rest. Local authorities and investigations were made around the crash site to find out on what made it faulty and recover the hundreds of passengers onboard train 501.
Note for 1 animation error: The 1402 number board was out of place and apologies for not getting it right maybe next time.

I remember seeing the traffic backups on highways 702 and 507 that night (I lived in the Roy/Yelm/McKenna area for most of my life). It genuinely and truly was pure craziness.

Geez, I never knew that an SC-44 crashed. That’s why they gotta slow down on curves. Poor guy. He looks upset.
It was confirmed not the crews fault.
1: Engineer had literally no knowledge on the SC-44
2: The route had no markings for the curve
3: Amtrak was found liable for the lack of training on the route
Not all locomotives in the world are well "safe"

In the end after the wreck, Amtrak SC-44 1042 was damaged beyond repair and scrapped. Amtrak 181 was undamaged and it was put back into the service. Amtrak 1402 was one of the first SC-44 Charger train to be scrapped after the collision!

Well, it turns out that the passengers didn’t like Amtrak, So I think they will ride with RV’s…..
The real story was Amtrak P42DC 181 on the rear and plus the only one that survived.

Aftermath: 3 passengers that were killed form the crash and the driver was arrested for no reason and 1402 was scrapped by the crash also the damaged train cars, then 181 was tooken back to the yard so thats how it happened after the crash.

That has to be the metric system other than the imperial units of speed and the train was going almost 80 mph in (imperial) and the engineer did not see the curve and he said holy **** and disaster strike.

This was the DuPont Minecraft Train Disaster recreation and maybe one day a remake would be better for me because of the inaccuracies that were left in this animation throughout the entire making of this video to make it more realistic.

The designs are similar because I followed a tutorial on CraftyFoxeMC to build the SC-44 Charger locomotive, P42DC, and The Talgo train cars for the purpose of this Minecraft Train Disaster Animation I did back in 2021, when my building skills were just starting out however, thanks to a tutorial he did about how to build in 1.5:1 scale, I can now build my own trains and other builds without following any of his tutorials however, the builds can sometimes still be similar to his designs because it’s trying to replicate something based on a real world object.

how you can do animation?
How I do animation is I used this animating software called Mine-Imator where you can make whatever Minecraft animation you want and it’s free but it is only available on windows and you must have Minecraft Java Edition in order to build sets and convert those schematics to the program that uses a import from world tool it includes and what you do is you have a timeline and you keyframe your object after moving it.

Got a few things:
First horn timing. Two of your shots had imperfect timing (Might be due to the video your sourcing), where your short was either on, or your long as ahead of the crossing. Your last long in Q (- - . -) should always be ON the crossing. Theory is, that the last long will cover the entire crossing, even as valves close.
Second: you cant see a 2.x percent grade as shown in Minecraft I do not know the distance you had to cover, but it seems that the county road bridge the train goes under, might have been higher up. I'm not sure as I am not local to the area, I'm just going off of google earth. In minecraft, the visible disturbance would be visible as 1,500 blocks (1.5 kilometers), while in real-life it would be 500 meters, or closer depending a local topography.
Did 1402 get scrapped on site or was it repaired
It was officially scrapped… It’s crazy how a brand new locomotive goes to waste by an engineer that made a huge mistake.
