I love how the first seconds have similar tone to the music when you are in spirit realm (dead)
for me personally every login screen on the first stages feels like an uncohesive mess, but then after getting to know the locations and their music you get associations and everything starts making sense. still some very nice tunes inside already, v hyped
While I agree to an extent the composition for the theme for Cataclysm did an excellent job at tying in both the new and the old in a way that just flowed through the entirety of the piece. There are moments in this where theres a sudden shift in another direction signalling that its music from a distinct zone, the Segways can be jarring at some points. I'll have to revisit listening to it though, I hope it grows on me but I can't identify a particular part I HAVE to listen to again. :/

Not gonna lie, it sounds like a generic mishmash of random tunes. It doesn’t have a “feeling” to it like Wrath, MoP, or Legion login themes.
The few seconds that people need to log in , is mainly the sound of the Wrath login screen. At 3:50 min it gets good though, something we didn't hear yet in WoW.

I entirely agree. BfA and this one are just... boring. The worst crime an entertainment piece can commit. Very generic. BC, Wrath, Mists and Legion are real standouts with their login screen, they have their own identities and powerful moments. This one is still beautiful, as WoW music always is, but feels like some by the numbers fantasy_music_v152.wav. I won't remember it in t-1 day.
@@borek92 i don't like how u guys didn't list cata's music, sure the expansion was meh, but the login music was the best or the 2nd best after wotlk, go listen to it again, u just might have forgotten about it

This is fantastic! Love the WotLK main title part in the beginning, it’s a nice callback. The rest is phenomenal, brings all the Covenants together

GranitWall I was referring to the part starting at 0:36. Check the WotLK main title at 0:38, that’s what I meant (lasts about 20 seconds).

Drill Mansi I know what it is. This particular version of that part is more a callback to WotLK specifically, rather than the other versions, which is what I was trying to convey.
It is great at the start with the Legends of Azeroth motif. Then it becomes beautiful, epic, flowing... but also - this is my opinion - painfully generic and uninspired.
I miss playing this expansion back when I was 12 years old, I'd even play before going to my Zoom class in 6th grade and the start of middle school. I'm 25 now and it gets me all nostalgic, Assault on the Void just isn't the same, with Covid32 I still gotta work from home as well :)

Like it or not, this is still a badass masterpiece.
This music sounds very texturized like it has many layers, it sounds deeper and less generic, almost cinematic. Im impressed with this piece of music from the new expansion.
I'm a bit bummed out by this one...
Something that annoys me about WoW music (despite them and Art being the best parts of the WoW team), the music is too cinematic/bombastic at times with very weak melodies. They motifs, but nothing really central.
Outside of the Bastion and Venthyr, the only thing that can be caught is “uh...louder violin?” Though I’m assuming that’s the necrolord with electric guitar in it. Gaze a Zerg vibe.
I'm loving this. For some reason, the melody that plays after 3 minutes reminds me of Final Fantasy.
It's a little reminiscent of the music of Baldur's Gate II
Not their best, but I still love it and it gets me more excited for Shadowlands.

@@Mayckie I've been on the beta. Issues awaiting fixes not withstanding ... I simply am not interested.
But regardless, I've been mostly only roleplaying with my guild since Cataclysm so ... whether the content is good or not in the end doesn't matter much.

It's finally here! Now it's no longer just a scrapped expansion after WotLK and replaced by Cataclym but it's coming!
@Naveen KV it was already on test but along the way it got scrapped and Blizz made an announcement that Cata will be the next expansion to be released.
Deathwing was one of the major lore characters in WC2. Many presumed he died but later on taking the guise of Daval Prestor. He is the aspect of death and thus "deathwing".
Expect to see him in Shadowlands.

@@shadowsaurusrex4379 back in 2009, when people were anticipating what will be the next expansion after LK's downfall. Shadowlands is strictly WotLK 2.0 that got postponed.

Ощущение, что музыки накидали из разных аддонов и связали как могли(не очень склейки). Думаю, эта музыка не полностью для окна входа, лишь часть её будет использована там, а остальное по ситуации в игре
Так логин скрин музыка всегда была склейкой саундтреков аддона с добавлением основной темы азерота
Как сказали в комментариях, поначалу все саунды для экрана загрузки кажутся простой склейкой, которую ты не понимаешь. А далее, после игры в аддон, ты поймешь прелесть этого трека, ведь с каждым звуком у тебя будут некие ассоциации. И да, как сказали до меня, все саунды под логин скрины делаются по такой логике.

3:59 must be the login screen music.
Only 1:15 in and honestly it sounds really cheap, just like the BoA title theme felt. Even past 3:59 I didn't feel much from it as it just transfers from theme to theme (In some cases without any flow into the next one). The ending is also trash, sorry to say.

Judging whole expansion just by the login theme? Don't you think it's kinda harsh?
@@SonicTheHedgehog17 IMO the effort put into the loading screen's music would equal the effort put into the soundtrack as a whole.
I also noted it is not just the login screen being a factor in the previous comment and typically it shouldn't for most people, for me however it is a large enough factor because I put more personal focus on the music that I'm going to be listening to awhile leveling and doing everything else (It's bad enough they don't believe in individual boss themes for those type of fights).
