To those making negative comments remember that they are paid a fraction of an western employed factory worker and the products they make are sold for very little. These machines are not used in precision manufacture and will do the job. Very easy to be critical sitting in an air conditioned home. They are at least working unlike those in advanced countries that expect everything on a plate. I have worked in africa etc and appreciate the hard work they do day in day out regardless if they are sick etc.
Criticism coming from afraid little boys, who still complaining, despite the fact, their nation have so many advances, yet they're been replace by Computer/Machines. Focus on that...
I find these videos fascinating to watch, No fancy CNC computers needed. Just skills and use lathe, drills, grinders, acetylene torches and welders and then making a power press from stock steel. Respect. Always wonder how often you get some hot sparks of melted steel on the exposed feet in jandels. Thanks for sharing.
You might want to check the Afghan, that copycat just about any type of gun available these days (from hand guns to machine guns, antique guns). The only tools they use are a hammer, file, and might be a small grinder (not all shop have this) very basic simple tools. But I like the big machine that I can see what they doing, the gun making is way to small to see.
I like these videos. The work is heavy. My Grandfather’s father worked like this. The machines and tools they are using will last another 100 years. Stay safe guys.
I've been watching these types of videos for nearly a decade, and I enjoy much more than modern technology which I rarely watch. These folks have so many tricks, they learn from job, and their skills seem to be in their blood.

Hi masters. Health to your work. You are making very nice products with a very nice work. If you make the 3 screws that you put on the bearings that you are trying to tighten at 28:20 and 29:20 and belong to the cover long enough to enter the main body, you do not need to hit so much with a hammer and damage the bearing bearings. As you tighten the screws, the hub of the bearing will fit on the shaft without any problem. (As you did at 24:30) You do not need to weld it together. When you need to replace the bearings in the future, it will be enough to unscrew the screws. You can also increase the number of screws and the thickness of the screw. It will also be useful to thicken the main body as in 24:30. If you are not satisfied with this idea, if you pass a 2 mm wide pipe from the shaft to the shaft after the bearing and hit this pipe with a hammer, you will place the bearing on the shaft more quickly and more smoothly. At the same time, you will not disturb the ball bearings on the bearing due to the irregular hammer blows and you will not shorten the life of the bearing. I wish you ease in your work, accident-free and trouble-free work.
Amazing video . Could you say to me please which one material were used on there for frame and also how many power for motor is used for that press (4kw is enough ) ? Thank you .
They do it all in sandals from cutting out with a torch spikes everywhere to welding sparks going everywhere to grinding spots going everywhere. Heavy metal being picked up and thrown around all in sandals crazy
do you have any idea how long this press will last without certain parts being hardened? Although a pretty nice job considering the tools they have to use! ❤ thanks for sharing this with me 👍Greetz from Holland 🇳🇱
I believe these hard working people will build their future and develop their country. It is the matter of couple decades. From safety flip flops and the lack of PPE to Cnc and other hi end staff. Best wishes!
The amount of bashing the ball bearing races receive yet still function is huge compliment to those businesses that design & build them! PS, I wonder if the threads are all still Imperial to match the age of the machine tools?
Still function for 1/10 of it's normal life. It's not even one-off production as they shown multiple units produced. They couldn't even find a piece of iron pipe that costs nothing to have a more or less proper tool push that poor bearing.
I worked for an USA company for almost 25 years, and I wondered why many USA engineers could not solve problems just using ingenuity, they were blocked. Once we had a new machine for ultrasonic welding a pair of plastic parts. the machine was designed for working in between two frequencies. but it did not work , something went wrong. and would not weld in between those frequencies, we needed to increment the frequency. but if we did that it will reduce the machine horn durability, so the USA engineer would not do it. He played with the variables, time, pressure etc, for 3 months, nothing worked, I told him many times just increase the frequency. no, he will not do it, because it was out of the designed parameters.obvious something went wrong, but we needed to produce the product, and had no more time. what to do? He left without solving the problem. the product was programmed to run that week. I just increased the frequency. there was a variable he did not consider. production volume, we needed to run only 1000 parts per week, that was just two hours production per week. at that volume, the heat on the horn would never get so high to damage the horn and I asked the planner to program the product in between lunch time, so during lunch, we we will give more cooling time. that happened on the year 2000, I left the company on 2017, and the machine was still working fine. I admire this guys that can do extraordinary work, just using ingenuity and imagination.

This is how machinists worked in the 1830, they made scale models of cannons, then took dimensions from the models and multiplied the reading for the full size item.
They need to get one of those hand-held lasers that would not only claim up the finished product but would help clean the rust off of things they're taking time to hand sand. Steel-toe shoes wouldn't hurt, at the company's expense.
Inside every rough lump of rock, there hides a beautiful statue waiting to emerge. Inside every pile of rusty scrap, there hides a great machine waiting for creation. Humans see something in everything. Aren't we a wonderful species !
