My mother had a red Belvedere with aluminum racing mags, 12"wide tires on back. It was the envy of every hot rodder in town. Never seen one like it since. Thank you for the nostalgia.
This was probably the most detailed model I have seen in a restoration video. Driveshaft turning with the wheels; torsion bars, the whole shebang. Great finished product. Very impressive.
My neighbor bought a brand new '65 Belvedere when I was a kid. His was black, though. I really enjoyed watching you restore this detailed model of that great car! I subbed.
OUTSTANDING. The level of detail that car has is just phenomenal. I used to have a '64 Hemi Belvedere...this brings back a lot of memories. Excellent job!
Beautiful, that light wet sanding really helps to bring out the sculptural details in the body ,now all it needs is those dog dish hubcaps 👍love mopars from the late 1950s to the late 1960s

Plymouth Belvedere. Descendant of the Fury, predecessor to the Satellite/GTX/Roadrunner, if my history’s right. Love the video. Was worth the watch. Now I wish I’d kept the models that I had when I was a teenager. Lesson learned.

I love the attention to detail, one last thing to take it to perfection, and not hard to do with a paint pen, the window chrome & drip rails, 60s cars were all about the chrome...lol
Such a pretty car. In real life and these cute little wee ones. Too bad they don’t make toy cars w/ this/that much attention to detail anyone. Great job on the restoration!!!!!

Awesome resto of the old Plymouth, you make that look easy but in actuality I'm thinking Very difficult, Great job restoring those older model cars n trucks
Это покажется странным, но мне нравится старые машинки, они будто настоящие, с ними дальше фильмы снимать можно. Оставил бы их такими, а вообще классный ремонт

Actually that car looked like a "Highway 61" brand model car i could be wrong but judging by the detail of it and working suspension its either that or GMP but honestly who would do that to a model car thats over 150 bucks give or take again i could be wrong
Great restoration bro. I think the hard work was worth it. Yep no matter what you do you can make everyone happy. Everyone has an opinion. I just enjoyed seeing you working on it!! 😁🤟👍
To be honest, I do like the old rusty version more than the restored version. Perhaps metallic paint and proper hubcaps would make it look better. It looks too new now. But that's my own opinion.
Ton what are proper hubcaps, you're thinking proper bumper stickers, do you wear a tin foil hat by any chance, nothing against metallic paint just useless wheel covers
I love how some people leave comments about how he is somehow able to remember how to reassemble all the parts after they are restored, never stopping to consider that literally everything he does and each part he disassembles is documented on video…😂😂😂
It's more like he bought the model made it look called NG and then makes a video of him making it clean so he's actually got the instructions and box and the receipt on the other table
Thanks for watching the channel, buddy! I was really happy with your message! This week has a new video, so activate the bell to be notified! Big hug! 😁🤟👍
This car would have cost a mint when bought new. Nothing was broken off; so the kid actually took pretty good care of it even though it looked quite worn.
Most of the cars in these videos are weathered to look decades old. Once I saw like a model that came out in 2017, but it looked like it had sat outside for 50 years
the work was excellent my congratulations I liked it a lot, it would be prettier if it was painted in black but with the red it was good too, a hug to you from Brazil 👏👏👏👏👍
Ok, I have been watching a few of these videos. Who makes these fabulous models? They are far superior to any I have ever seen. I am in awe! Never mind the work that is done to them; I don't really pay attention to that. I am busy soaking up the detail shown in the model itself. He spun a rear wheel and the driveshaft turned! My God!
50 bucks say that when +RestoreDIY was a child his friends and relatives would only give him broken down toys as presents😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 As always AWESOME RESTORATION JOB.....
This is not an abadoned model car. He fucked it up on purpose. Throwing some dirt on it and treating the body work with some acid so it starts to rust. Notice the headlights look good as new, springs have no dirt caught in them, bodywork has no dents at all. The plastic parts all look good as new as well. It is a good job but he should be honest and tell us he just fucked the model up himself to restore it later.

That 'Unrestored' look was very popular and VERY expensive to have custom made.
Looked just as cool before not to diminish your work which is excellent. Also that model is awesomely detailed for being a model.

Love the hemi v8
The aged miniature was beautiful, it was exclusive... After you restored it, it was as normal as the new ones you find easy to buy in stores.
tbh this car looks like it was intentionally meant to look like a barn find, and looked pretty cool as it was.. but still a great outcome of it.
I thought they nailed it? Weathering is quite the difficult skill.
This channel should be how to make a model car look weathered, not the othet way around....

Тебе тоже так показалось?
Просто смысл тогда этого видео? Сначала сами портят что-то, а потом делают вид что восстанавливают

Excellent restoration.
The details in this model are awesome!! It looks so real!
Well, that's just the coolest 'toy' I've ever seen. Craftsmanship was outstanding. I'd be so tempted to preserve the patina. It aged so nicely.
Job well done another classic back on the shelf line again to be appreciated again
An outstanding detalization, nowdays it cost like gold.

I was thinking the same thing ...when I saw the first one .....it sort of had some history to it. .. the final was cool for the effort
I've never seen a model with a working differential, and suspension in this detail. Cool stuff.

Oh man.... This car very detail... The engine, the steering wheel, the differential, damn so good. I like it...

It's a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere diecast by Highway 16.

Or maybe it's because it's a toy and there are hardly any parts to it? It's hardly stripping a Breitling.
It's more like he bought the model made it look called NG and then makes a video of him making it clean so he's actually got the instructions and box and the receipt on the other table
Because the model he's working on now is a $200 model kit that he says is abandon like someone just left it on the side of the road
