No cars like these cars today.
After all, the "modern" design of Subaru, Toyota, even Mercedes and BMW, still the old cars, Oldsmobile 1960, Cadillac, Chevrolet were the most beautiful cars ever.

Fun fact: some tin toy companies used beer cans to manufacture their toys. When looking underneath, or when disassembling, you could see the labels.

@@ohsuzeyq_ Recycling, yes, but more importantly, it's about saving money. You wouldn't have caught a company like Nomura doing that.
Not used, but already printed for a beer or drink company but never delivered tin folios also being used. the reason is that kind of tin folios way cheaper than unprinted ones.
@@icspawn Although I didn't mentioned that the beer cans were used, I should have phrased it differently to illustrate that, indeed, companies used, as you said, unused tin folios.
Sweet restoration, almost looks like the car from the Andy Griffith show.

After getting wrecked by the vigorous chase to save the orphanage, the Bluesmobile has been repaired and now running.
This toy police car will also; remind me of Autobot Prowl, from the 'Transformers. '

Kudos to you for painting the car vice powder coating it. I suggest you paint dork colors over light. The dark paint covers the lighter paint much easier. Again, kudos to you.

I just got into restoring tin toys, and one thing I found is to heat the tabs with a butane torch until cherry red, let cool and you will be able to bend them over at least twice more without breaking them. I make sure to get the "root" of the bend red and do this annealing usually after taking the car apart so the tabs are already straight (hammered against a dolly if necessary)
The Blues brothers just went out of their way to raise money to restore the Blues mobile.( The real movie plot.)

Nice!, I remember as a child I had a big die cast 70’s police car, about that size maybe a bit bigger, it had sounds of the siren and police talking on CB. I might have been a toy from Adam 12 series show but I loved that toy so much. You don’t see toys like the in this day anymore
