you all probably dont give a damn but does someone know a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Zayd Malcolm i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I absolutely agree. Why didn't just restore it? I was very curious as to what the original looked like before it deteriorated. Now I guess I'll never know
I met my husband the summer of 1966 when he bought my cousin's 56 Chevy. He took me to the homecoming dance in it. It was raining and I remember it had vacuum wipers. Thanks for reminding me of that. I lost my husband 2 years ago after being married 4 months short of our 50th wedding anniversary. God bless you.
My dad had a 56 Chevy bel air. That was my first car I drove for my driving test. That was before power steering nd brakes. I loved that car but I wished you restored it in its show room finish.
I love how the body of the car looked after you sanded it.lovely polished look.coulve just built the car back together without painting it.i think that look would be cool.but I just know you'll give it an awesome paint job anyway.
Although this particular "transformation" concept was well done... I would have preferred to have seen an actual "restoration" of the original classic.
@@michaelreece458 🤣😂 where does it get the metal to oxidize? Plastic fades and gets brittle, it doesn’t rust. I guess restorers are running out of genuine antiques to restore. “Plastic will rust” 😂🤣
man those cars brought great memories, my grandfather blue one, he was helping his son build our house. it came out great. i havent seen one in over fifty yrs.these cars are so rare and what i call a real car that lasts all these yrs, fiber glass truly is a no no

@@restorediy but I understand each person has their view of how they like their cars to be but the originality was taken away from this rare find in Toy Cars ... LOVED how it came out and you did a GREAT JOB in doing it 💯 but if it was me I would have looked up Colors for 1956 and looked into getting the correct item to put back on the car
Honestly, it would be interesting to see this '56 Bel Air made modern? Actually after seeing the end result, I like the Bel Air without all the extra Chrome Trim!
This is #sledgemaster again. I'm watching this same show again. When u was putting puddy on the door, it looked cooled because everything looked black and white like on the old t.v.s. except there was red on the puddy knife. It remind me of the old t.v.s sets we use to have.
very entertaining video and well done! I just was disappointed that it wasn't an original restoration and I looked on the comments to find that others had the same thought. Still loved the video though.
Very good work and the custom, but for my part I would have left it original in that case, since those lines that you deleted give it that vintage look. Greetings from Chile.
Uma das restaurações mais difíceis que já vi...! Muitos detalhes e peças. Perfeito, excelente trabalho, parabéns! Mudou um pouco do original, mas não tira o brilho do trabalho!

@Jonah Travis No problem :D
i like the original look better then the custom version
I thought it was meant to look that way, like from a junk yard. Agree, better original.
could have done without the numbers on the doors and the roll cage but yea he done it his way.
I absolutely agree. Why didn't just restore it? I was very curious as to what the original looked like before it deteriorated. Now I guess I'll never know
So do I.
Agreed. It looks cheap now.
A really good restoration but I was waiting for an original version. Congrats!

Nicely done, but should have it original restored. Keep the original color
Hey man original color? The 56 Chevy came with interior buddy color so I think it was not original in the first case so I think it's much better now
I will give this restoration 7/10
Felicitaciones!!! Quedo listo para correr 🇵🇪

this looked like a well done hand weathered model, should have left it for a cool junkyard display

These model cars look to nice for some kids to have messed up. They look like collector car models.
My grandpa & dad had this Bel-Air. So big we put the Christmas tree in the back seat. It was that mint green color.
Different than original, but unique !!
Doesn't matter how it was made to look in the 'before', the outcome is amazing.
And I love classic cars
Good work 👍

Absolutely gorgeous, thank you
felicidades excelente restauracion amigo
That thing looks epic, good representation of early trick cars
Cool! 💙💛🤓👏👍
Very good work but I would have liked more red and original color. Greetings from Argentina🇦🇷.!!
That's cool!
Pretty amazing you knew exactly how it came apart without hesitation. Almost like you’ve had that car apart before.
Better than having him fumble around not knowing what to do.
Most of these are assembled the same so it's super easy to do it off the rip
ESSE CARRO ESTÁ APAREÇENDO MAIS ORIGINAL MAIS COMPLETO EU GOSTEI

Very nice
Thank you.
Wow! Great work! But I like the orginal design with orange and white colors.. that would be great!
Nice Video Man
If I have known that you were going to customize the car I would not have clicked on it. But a great job anyways. 🤔🤠👍🇺🇲

Possibly it was too difficult to find replacement parts.
Turned it into a dirt track race car. Cool.
Thank you, friend!
muy buen trabajo .excelente .pero en lo personal volverlo a su originalidad seria lo mejor en mi opinión. Son escalas clásicas.joyas en miniatura

Excelente restauracion y customizacion
de este BEL AIR 1956. saludos desde Venezuela.
Great looking 56 Chevrolet Bel air it looks like it went Racing in the NASCAR cup series in the 50's
Thank you very much, friend!
Do you cover these with rusty looking coating so they just look abandoned? I don't usually see plastic rust like that.
Exposed to road salt, plastic will rust in a hurry.
Yeah it's obviously staged, but it's still pretty satisfying to watch.
„Magic Rust“ 10 bucks. Nothing in nature can rust plastic.

You do realize that is a metal body. new flash, metal rusts! And the plastic parts are not rusty, they are dirty. Seriously, pay attention.

You got rid of all the chrome and made it look bland! How could you do that to a beautiful 1956 Bel Air?
I thought the same thing. I guess we're just purists.
I am with you on the chrome. He should have made it a gasser that would have made up for the chrome
I have to agree with the other people, the original version is better. Good video as usual.
