I think what you do is freaking awesome! I would just like to know what you use? Like when you clean the parts and what is that spray? Is it a liquid bondo. Also where do you find such intractabley put together cars? This shits awesome! Screw those other commentators.
I've been watching tons of these so-called DIY fixes and started noticing that these apparent abandoned and broken cars looks oddly alike. They have the same scuff marks, same colour dirt and same kind of damage. I'm starting to wonder whether these toys haven't been damaged on purpose before being "fixed". But that's just me.

its the aging he applies to the cars that gave it away to me.( rust,mold effects i use to watch a lot of modeling for trains) must like to make it look retro then try to bring it back.

The weathering is obviously custom, it's meant to look like a real abandoned car. Like the previous comments said, it's not an informational video. Doesn't matter how it got that way, they always restore it in the end.

So… I have a real one (1978) that I just inherited from my dad who passed away last month. I’ve been looking for a scale replica like this and can’t find one anywhere. Any idea who the manufacturer is? I’d LOVE to have a mini of the one I’m about to restore!!!

Since I went to high school in the early 80's my friend had one of those but the yellow one with the black and red stripe package. I would sincerely love to buy this Camaro from you. Is it for sale. I love these "restoration" videos, especially when you can clearly tell the person making the video caused the damage to the thing he is restoring.
Car might came from a Junkyard diorama, thats why its broken and they are restoring it. You know, just like restoring a junkyard car but its a diecast car

Nice.the Camaro shared the same body as Pontiac's Firebird,the Z/28 being the eqiuvelant to the Trans Am.front and rear bodypanels were fitted as per the plant assembling them,plus other details.

Great restoration job, it turned out beautiful. The only thing is I love to watch the sand blasting and there was none.

Other than the front wheel missing, I thought this car looked great.

A beautiful restoration, you have turned into a magnlficent Camaro. The care you take on the paint job is fantastic. The final coating is therefore excellent. Amazing so much care you put into every part. The rims you have chosen are beautiful.
You are whitout a doubt a professional!
I notice you never bake the cars bodies when they are bare metal, have you never run into die-cast that has impurities in the metal that cause paint not to stick? I know I have! I always bake the stripped metal bodies at 400 degrees for 30 min to cook off and out any impurities from the metal. Makes the painting process so much smoother.
If that Camero is a Z-28 you should've put the Z-28 decals on it but it looks good without them also & glad that you painted it black because black is my favorite color
Wow, that came out beautifully. I have a 1/18 1960 Ford Starliner that the original paint is all peeling off and have been wondering how to fix it. I could never paint it up like you, though.

Should’ve cleaned the original rally rims, And put them on. The ones you put on our original Camaro rally rims, and they are not all chrome, only the beauty ring which is not included, and the center rings and The hub cover is supposed to be chrome.
Nonetheless, the paint job came out nice, should’ve put the sticker package on it. Love the car, I used to have a 79.
