@@restorediy i do a lot of plastic kits building,after i saw a video of you i thought,this is another nice thing to do. Went to a flea market and bought a few old cars. 1 was a mercedes gull-wing,restored it and put it on my shelve, a boy from the street asked me what was my hobby and why i was taking paint of a old car outside on my terrace. i showed him my kits and then he looked at me and said. I wish i had a dad like you and he could do that things for me. He was in love with the gull-wing. But asked nothing.Later i met his mom in the supermarket and she told me that her son was full of that car,but later she mentioned she had no husband and money was very short. i asked when his birthday was, she told me in a few months. But i was not allowed to buy him a gift. So i put the gull-wing in a plastic showcase,wrapped it and the big day was there. That boy was so happy just like he recived the newest game console. A few days later he came to me and asked me,can you learn me how to do a restauration. Since then he is for me a adopted son,and he has a cool dad. These video,s are very inspirating,and for people with a small budget it is a great hobby to get in the modelcars/boats world
I love how you can take an older disfigured toy and refurbish it. Its worth watching how meticulous you are at bringing new life back to each piece.😀
That was a very touching letter. A young Mopar fan. He's got good taste. The 69 Chargers have a very .distinctive shape and one of the muscle cars that combine beauty and brawn on their look.

Looks like my first car, minus the R/T. That's a big block 383 or 440, ram exhaust manifolds. I did think that Charger R/T' s had small side scoops in the fender or door tho, can't quite remember. Vitamin B orange is a great color. I had a 70 Coronet that color and I can still see it as it was. Damn, I should of kept both of those cars. There were lots of hot rods back then by all manufacturers. A friend of mine had a 70 AMC Machine. Sweet car as well.

this is a Maisto 1969 dodge charger, they can be bought for 39-40 USD
I thought so. I had the ERTL version in the 90s. I wish I still had it. If I come across another one, I’m keeping it, period!

Nice job! The only thing I noticed was the engine color was red. The R/T was a big block car and that would have made the engine color turquoise.
