I can't really blame him honestly. of course he went over board but that's how hurt he felt. he's a teenager and he exists in a world where if youre good at pokemon battles you become popular. I could see that really getting to some people if pokemon was real, especially teens/young adults.

Man lost one legendary to the player character so decided to get his hand on a master ball so he can catch one. Then when he sees the Legendary he immediately chucks the Master Ball without even a chance at the player catching them. Say what you will about him, but bro came prepared to make sure that he got the legendary and not give the protagonist a single chance of getting it. Too bad he lost control because if the Terrastalizing the Mon worked, he would have been a real challenge (still would have lost though)

I loved when I fought Kiki, because I watched ash vs leon before I did the dlc, and on my first and only attempt it felt so..satisfying, because we both were down to our last pokemon (his hydrapple and my Charizard aka Charzy) my entire team was level 100 and my signature pokemon Charzy..still has never lost a single story battle to this day. Then after rewatching ash vs leon on Netflix, I felt like the battle was so..similar, because we were both down to our last pokemon, and just like how ash beat leon, I beat kiki the same way: using my last and ace pokemon Charzy.
