Biggest lesson i learnt in 2023 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and low a strategy with a long term edge.
Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
Uncertainty... it took me 5 years to stop trying to predict what’s about to happen in market based on charts studying, cause you never know. not having a mentor cost me 5 years of pain I learn to go we’re the market is wanting to go and keep it simple with discipline.
Transfer of wealth usually occur during maket crash, so the more stoc,ks drop, the more I buy, in the meanwhile I'm just focused on making better investmnts and earning more as recession fear increases, apparently there are strategies to 3x gains in this present maket cos I read of someone that pulled a proft of $350k within 6months, and it would really help if you could make a video covering these strategies

There are lots of mixed opinions about stocks and there projection in the next coming years, I aim for short term solid gains from market correction and I'd definitely jump on the boat if I knew a thing or two about day-trading, but then again what do I really know? I'm just looking for the right moves to grow and hedge my stagnant reserve of $370k from inflation.

I’ve heard of people accruing over $550k during recessions and inflation, its important to do your own research.
I’ve been employing the skillset of an advisor ever since the stock selloff of Aug, 2015 when the Dow jones fell by over 1800pts which inherently wiped out all my gains, I was down over $80K(terrible times)…That's when I began using an advisor, took about 6months for me to break even and also net a gain of about $830k while others waited over 2 years to just break even, definitely being aggressive comes with greater risks, but with an investment-coach, it has all been calculated risks.
My 401k lost everything it’s gained since early 2019. Sigh, wouldn’t mind looking into the advisor that guides you, I’d really love to grow my reserve seeing I should be retiring in 3years.

Great video mam! I do have a question though. For someone with less than $10,000 to invest, how would you recommend we enter the stock market? I am looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What’s your take on this approach?
Of course you can follow a skilled trader and copy/learn how they trade. Its not difficult, It just requires a certain level of diligence, no doubt, which is something ordinary investors lack, so a financiaI br0ker often comes in very handy.
I’ve copied trades from a licensed wealth manager over the past few years and its better than trading blindly on your own if youre a newbie. It would give you a better understanding of what's happening. I was able to raise a profit of $680K within 7 months of active sessions.

Mam, it was an eye opener. As you said, there are many myths and fears. Being brought up in a marathi middle class family, shares, stocks etc, is something on Mars. So even if I was working for LIC of India, banks, gold, LIC were the only available methods of investment and savings. The only reason for fear is, so far as I am concerned, lack of knowledge. Sometimes getting proper knowledge is itself very difficult. At my age, again, learning something new becomes tedious. But, many thanks to you. I was always procrastinating to learn the concept of Share market and seeked the information from google but never got that satisfaction. Biggest lesson i learnt in 2023 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and low a strategy with a long term edge.
Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
Uncertainty... it took me 5 years to stop trying to predict what’s about to happen in market based on charts studying, cause you never know. not having a mentor cost me 5 years of pain I learn to go we’re the market is wanting to go and keep it simple with discipline.

An uptick in volatility is not necessarily a bad thing, there are opportunities to be found even in this whirlwind. VolatIility gives you a chance to rebalance... It’s a good idea to diversify your portfolio across different stocks and sectors to minimize risk. I’ve heard of people accruing over $550k during recessions and inflation, its important to do your own research.
I’ve been employing the skillset of an advisor ever since the stock selloff of Aug, 2015 when the Dow jones fell by over 1800pts which inherently wiped out all my gains, I was down over $80K(terrible times)…That's when I began using an advisor, took about 6months for me to break even and also net a gain of about $830k while others waited over 2 years to just break even, definitely being aggressive comes with greater risks, but with an investment-coach, it has all been calculated risks.
My 401k lost everything it’s gained since early 2019. Sigh, wouldn’t mind looking into the advisor that guides you, I’d really love to grow my reserve seeing I should be retiring in 3years.

An uptick in volatility is not necessarily a bad thing, there are opportunities to be found even in this whirlwind. VolatIility gives you a chance to rebalance... Netflix , Amazon , may have gotten beaten up, but they are still good companies.. You have to get a fiinancial-advisor/brokerr to aid you diversify your portfolio.
A lot of people learn from mistakes. No shame in that. Most Traders are not economists, yes there will be anxiety, but this is one of the best learning experience for this Generation and that is why I have my funds well diversified with the help of a financial advisor

Great video mam! I do have a question though. For someone with less than $10,000 to invest, how would you recommend we enter the stock market? I am looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What’s your take on this approach?
Of course you can follow a skilled trader and copy/learn how they trade. Its not difficult, It just requires a certain level of diligence, no doubt, which is something ordinary investors lack, so a financiaI br0ker often comes in very handy.
I’ve copied trades from a licensed wealth manager over the past few years and its better than trading blindly on your own if youre a newbie. It would give you a better understanding of what's happening. I was able to raise a profit of $680K within 7 months of active sessions.

Ma'am I am 75 years and have no knowledge of shares even though I own shares. Actually when I started to work an elderly gentleman in the office who was dealing with shares told me and my friend to buy shares. So we bought shares but both of us have nil knowledge. So it is like with me to use for rainy days. I sat through both your sessions but don't know when I will start to make some money. You have explained so well and in such simple language. I think you should now do something for senior citizens and help us to be occupied going after share market.

Mam, it was an eye opener. As you said, there are many myths and fears. Being brought up in a marathi middle class family, shares, stocks etc, is something on Mars. So even if I was working for LIC of India, banks, gold, LIC were the only available methods of investment and savings. The only reason for fear is, so far as I am concerned, lack of knowledge. Sometimes getting proper knowledge is itself very difficult. At my age, again, learning something new becomes tedious. But, many thanks to you. Stock market basics:
1. Dividend
Diff. Interest and Dividend
Dividend is Tax free for certain limits
2. LTCG ( Long Term Capital Gain)
Holding share more than a year and earns profit known as LTCG
Dividend : It returns on investment on shares ( It's upto the company to give dividend or not)
Dividend and LTCG are tax free for individuals subject to limits.
( What is the limit for tax free for dividend??)
3. Face Value: Share price at the starting of company
Share certificate : it contains number of shares we purchased and face value also other details
4. Demat
( Dividend gives on Face Value)
Promoter : Who starts the company
Issues shares at premium
1. Issue price
2 .Listed price
3. Face value
Turnover :- Sales
Profit :- (Profit Before Tax)
Profit :- (Profit After Tax)
Profit = Turnover - Expenses
Top Line: Top Line means turn over of the company
Bottom Line: Bottom Line means Profit ( Profit After Tax)
Note: Do analysis of the company at least back 5 years
Stocks split :-
The face value of the share is split (Number of shares will increase proportionately)
Splits the face value sometimes due to splitting share price
LTP (Latest Traded Price) ( This price changes)
Pre opening Market session
(9:00 - 9:15 AM)
It is a 15 Minutes session from 9:00 to 9:15 AM to absorb heavy fluctuations in the market
- After Market Order: ( 4:00 PM - Next day 9:00 AM )
Orders which are placed between 4:00 PM to Next day 9:00 AM but they will get executed next day @ 9:15 AM when the market opens.
Previous close and Opens Price will not be the same always ( It's very rare Previous and Opens Price market)
Gap up opening ( can be increased compared to last close Price)
Gap down opening ( can be decreased compared to last close Price)
Unchanged ( Unch) (Share Price can be opend at same price) but it happens very rarely.
BID Price (QTY) : Example 1245.65 (26)
The best buy Price
OFFER Price (QTY): Example 1244.65 (40)
The best sell Price
High/Low
In Money control website :
We can find all the data of the company under "Corporate Action"
Bonus Ratio :- 1:2 ( 1 share you get free for 2 shares you hold)
Announcement Date (Declared about the bonus shares)
Record Date ( Bonus Given Date)
Ex Bonus Date
On Record Date we should have shares in our demat to get the bonus
We can't buy shares After Ex-Bonus date
We should buy shares atleast one day before the Ex Bonus Date
Record Date:
Cum basis and Ex basis
When a security is traded on cum basis, it means that it incorporates the benefit of the corporate action in its price. Once it goes ex-basis, the buyer no longer has the benefit of the corporate action.
Price Adjustment:
The stock exchange carries out adjustments to traded price on the last day on which security is traded on cum basis in the market, after the close of trading hours

The secondary market is where securities once issues are brought and sold between investors.
The secondary market consists of following
1. Stock exchange
2. Investors
3. Issuers
4. Financial intermediaries
5. Regulator
Stock Exchange:
- The stock exchange provide a platform for investors to buy sell securities from each other.
- The three national level stcok exchanges in India
NSE, BSE, MSEI (MCX SX)
Members (Broker)
. Investors can trade in the secondary markets only through members of stock exchange.
Investors:
There could be various categories of investors like:
- RII (Retails Individual Investors) less than Or equal 2lac
- HNI (High Networth Individuals) Greater than 2lac
- DII (Domestic Institutional Investors) Example: Banks, Insurance companies, Mutual Funds
- FII/ FPI (Foreign Institutional Investors)
Issuers : Company shares
Clearing Houses (Shares move from one investor to another investor through clearing Houses)
NSCCL :
National Securities Clearing Corporation Ltd - NSE
ICCL : Indian Clearing Corporation Limited
Meteopolitan
Depositories and DPs
- For Securities to be eligible to trade in the secondary markers, it should be held in electronic or dematerialised form
- National Securities Depositiry [ NSDL ] and Central Depository Service [ India ] Ltd CDSL are thr two depositories in India
