Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.

The best way to find growth stocks. The key features to look out for are as follows: 1.) Make sure the gross margin is greater than 50%. 2.) Make sure the P/E is below 100. 3). Buy companies that are profitable, which is very important regardless of the industry. 4.) The ratio of debt to equity is less than 30%. 5.) The current ratio is above I. 6.) The float is below 100 million. One stock that meets these requirements is FLGT (Fulgent).
The first half of 2023 has been difficult and possibly the second half of 2023 as well due to the many negative factors involved. I believe the worst is over for growth stocks, but P/Es could come under a bit more pressure as interest rates rise. They will bounce back when fundamentals are strong. Selling them now would be a total loss. Hold on and think of a longer way.
As a new investor, it's always great to hear from a person who has been through all of the tough times and got through them. It's disconcerting to see your portfolio go from green to red, but as mentioned, if you've invested in quality stocks, you simply need to keep adding to them and stay the course.
Bear and bull markets offer great opportunities. I used to discredit people who made money in bear markets until I did it myself. The US stock market is currently experiencing a long bearish season but if you zoom out it's actually a bull run as the market always comes around, so it's understandable that people are panicking. Yes, I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. Look I’m not a pro investor but one thing I should say is that if you lose money from here you should recover from here only not necessarily from those stocks itself
Averaging them will require more money and time as well if they fundamentally strong look at there PE ,PB ,ROE ,EPS ,debt to equity , then you may get the idea how probably the company may perform in future then you must wait and if they are not strong stocks or may not perform well beat the loss and come out of it and make money from other sectors. I'm not worried at all about where we're headed in 2023 because I know I'm in good hands... Unless you intend to buy and hold stocks for a decade, cos I don't see a reason not to.

I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I was able to increase my portfolio by $289k in months. You have to seek for help in the right places.
I think it's not always about fear, Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value

I have traded with a lot of individuals but I have never come across anyone as good as MrsJane Marie Kunak, just by applying her strategies, I now trade independently. she is the best I'd advise any novice in investing to trade with her.
My method is to buy quality firms, anticipate to hold them regardless of what happens, pay up but not too much, keep track, sell only when necessary, and be ready to course correct.

I believe there should be 5 % weightage for each stock. Having said that max 20 stocks should be there in your portfolio which comprises of 4 to 5 sectors. This will also helps in limiting losses due to diversification. one more point..we should also calculate BETA of a stock.
