Very clear and helpful : thanks! Didn’t realise mutual funds had such high fees! BTW does each country have different index funds and are they limited to just one country’s stocks? Or are there more global’ index funds that track multiple countries’ stocks or index funds just for emerging markets etc ?
It’s a good time to buy in on the market, so seize the opportunity to purchase stocks on sales.
I think stocks will plummet further before actually experiencing steady growth and there are still quite a few stocks that makes for a good buy this season, you just have to do your research, but to be on the safer side and not second guess your market decisions, I’d suggest you reach out to a proper investment manager for guidance, they’re better equipped at understanding market patterns/movements and adjusting portfolio to match up with these market trends.

You have to get a financial-advisor/broker to aid you diversify your portfolios to include commodities, inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, as opposed to growth stocks where valuations were based on future potential earnings.

The more so because an investment coach's skill set is based on short- and long-term holdings for profit realization and their unique analysis makes it nearly difficult for them to underperform, I prefer having their input in my day-to-day investment decisions. The stock market has been a really tough one this past months, but I watched an interview on CNBC where the anchor ‘Jim Cramer’ kept mentioning "...KARINA MATTIS...". I have challenged myself to put away 50% of my monthly income into stocks which is quite easy since I live frugal without debt. I work as an account executive, and make over $20000. $10000 goes into dividends, and the other $10000 covers my my food plus living expenses. I am seeing improvements in my portfolio, dividends look certain, but I have to attribute this to only to guidance of a licensed fund manager who allocates funds to a plethora of assets. I have to stay disciplined, and remember that I’m in it for the long term. Just got my first property and hopefully looking to get another down the road. I put in $30k as capital spread across stocks(index funds, ETFs) and I trade fx and options on the side. With his guidance and I’ve made a return of $103k within my investing span. I'm slowly but perfectly building my portfolio by putting money into the market at a consistent pace.
I don’t make that much, but I sure do make enough. However, it will not be a bad idea to hear from a professional.

This is my advice to anyone interested, whatever you do in the market better work with a plan but if you find it hard navigating then seek help, I clumsily lost over 5 grand in a month but that's how I learnt my lesson
