Many people in Norway make over $100K a year. Norwegians are well educated and salaries are high. The average rent in Norway is high also. You must have a strong income plus a fluency in Norwegian to comfortably live there. Everything is more expensive than in the U.S. Norway is beautiful and has a nice, refined ambience. Crime is low. Norwegians are reportedly the happiest people on Earth.
I agree, Norway is really beautiful, but those prices and taxes though... Sometimes I just want to leave this country for a cheaper and warmer country. Nice vlog though, nice that you visited my city Aalesund 😊
Portugal and Spain are beautiful and much cheaper than Norway. Salaries are high in Norway and so is everything else. It is necessary to speak fluent Norwegian to comfortably live there. The immigration process is not easy.
@@ganymeade5151 It is nescessary to speak local language fluently in most countries, should you choose to LIVE there, not just a short stay, in which case you would be fine with English, as most Norwegians speak quite descent English. Having said that, of course both Portugal and Spain have a warmer climate.. Namaste from Oslo
LMAO. Norway is expensive. However, you can find cheaper lodgings outside cities. Transportation is pricey and can cancel the savings on lodgings. It is probably better to stay nearer to the cities and nearby transportation.
I feel you should tell the prices to the audience as well. Norway is costly as hell! If not THE costliest country in the world. Beauty is unremarkable but barely affordable for most travellers. Public transportation is great and yes it’s scarce especially north of Narvik, you just need to plan better and not keep on taking cabs and flights . Also taking a flight from Tromsø to Bergen and then going to Gerianger makes no sense. One more thing, you missed the most scenic train ride in the world ‘Norway in a nutshell’ between Bergen and Oslo. Nonetheless, glad to see you having a lovely trip and these are just my opinions.

what time of the year did you travel? Been there twice to hunt for northern lights but did not happen as it was peak winter and cloudy. I understand you were not in Tromso when you did view the lights. Which place was it exactly?
Hi beautiful video, just wanted to know if I plan 9 days trip to Norway (Oslo, Bergen & Tromso) in July 24, then is INR 2.5 lacs enough including everything (flights international + domestic as well). Also are there enough vegetarian food options in Tromso especially, thanks
Hey veg food is very challenging in norway. You will get some options but please be fine with the breads. 9 days is enough and budget will mainly depend on your flights. if its under 50k then 2 lac is fine for 9 days
These are beautiful places. There are many American tourists and tour guides who speak English who are nice and can help you if you do not speak Norwegian.
can you please provide a detailed itenary of this trip with cost and your hotels/airbnb also, should I skip seitzerland and visit here ? also lovely video loved how you explained

Hi Amazing informative video, I with my wife planning to travel in February end to Oslo, Bergen, Lofoten, Tromso and Svalbard from Bangalore . May be 12-14 days . We are vegetarians. Can you please suggest us the itinerary? Thank you in advance 👍😊
Hello yes it is quite a expensive country. It coated around 2 lac for this trip. "Most expensive", yes. But I think there are countries in eastern and southern Europe that are more underrated. I never thought of Norway as being "underrated", but maybe it sort of is, but still not as much as some others.
Yes but the diverse beauty of this place is just incredible, specially its not so common destination in India as compared to iceland or finland for northern lights too

Are you planning to visit Norway from India?
Why there's no snow even during the winters???
The Gulf Stream keeps Norway warner than most far northern places. There is snow in Norway, just not as much as other Artic places
