You saved me there. I wasn't using wifi, and I was getting access permission and other errors while trying to flash. Maybe I could have fixed it with starting ExpressLRS Config in admin mode, but wifi is definitely easier.
Glad I could help! I got stuck quite a few times before figuring out this method. Feel free to subscribe or let me know anything else you would like to see. What drone are you binding it to?
@@2J.Racing not sure what else I'd like to see, still pretty new to all this. I just have it wired to a flight controller now. Don't have all the drone parts yet haha
I'm completly new to this and the TX12 is my first controller. So I can flash it with the newest version of EdgeTX or the newest version of Radiomasters own firmware? I don't need both or is it even possible to use both at the same time? Thank you!
Hey LouSnr, This video is just for updating the ExpressLRS Lua script. When I got my new RadioMaster TX MKII I did not have to update the firmware on it and you likely shouldn't have to either unless you just want to have the newest firmware. The Radiomaster is running EdgeTX and on the back on a red sticker it should state the update target if you do want to go in and update that.
Where do I download the BIN file from? In addition, when I click on build, the codes above do not appear, it only tells me the two blue paragraphs and the green one for successes
I just bought a TX12 MK2. When I open up its SD card, I can already see the elrsV3.lua script and the elrsV3.luac file in there. The ERLS version, as seen in the Web UI is 3.3.0. is it still mandatory to update the firmware? A sticker on the back of the transmitter says "This radio requires new TX12 MKII firmware. Do not use original TX12 firmware." I am really confused. Can you please throw some light?
Thanks for this! Question, upon hitting update, it gave a target mismatch warning, saying that the file in the radio was named "UNIFIED-ESP32-2400-TX" while the new one was the "Radiomaster_TX12_2400_TX. Is it safe to proceed? Thanks in advance!
@@2J.Racing yeah. just bought it a few days ago and been using it on a sim. i wanted to finally make the jump and connect it to the drone but quickly found out that i needed a binding phrase hence wanting to update elrs.
You just need to have atleast a class 10 SD card up to 32Gb. It is helpful to format the SD card to fat32 and give it a short 4 letter or less name. This will clear any issues.
@Technical channel I'm sorry, I do not fully understand your question. My vtx in the quad sends the video feed to my fpv goggles. The fpv goggles then take that vtx feed and send it to both the display screen as well as sending it to a built in dvr that records the vtx feed to an SD card stored in the goggles. I hope this helps.
@KanchaFPV Hey Kancha, When you chose which firmware to flash to, do you remember if you chose zorro or radiomaster? I believe both will work for this radio as it used to be that zorro was the only option. When you say the betafpv elrs 2.4 firmware update do you mean the firmware on the drone?

Hi. When I try to open the ELRS menu on my remote, the remote gets stuck on a loading screen. Could you help me with that?
MDL>your selected model [anyone]> scroll down to internal rf and turn mode on and go back and should be working

@@2J.Racing yes brother
How can re set
I m missing my express elrs file
I wish someone would do a video and not mention quads. I want to know for just regular rc planes!
If rc planes use elrs it should be the same I would imagine
Hlo bro
Instructions must be old. This does not work.
