Keep waiting. I certainly wouldn't want 1w internal elrs... The internal temps would be too great and you'd need a fan. Also, colour screens suck in direct sunlight and we have to assume for long range you'd be outdoors. Better off getting a 20 dollar external module to keep the temps low. Maybe you live in a forest though so it might work for you?
Thanks for the guide! I just finished this swap and it went great. Mine also required re-calibrating on the Zorro itself (SYS --> Pagebk, Pagebk --> Calibration)
I might get some for the tx12... that was more first radio I bought since spending like 500$ on a spectrum like 10 years ago. I'm still amazed at how good the radios are for under 150$

What a pain in the butt. The TX12 MkII has everything mounted to the front half of the body of the radio, so when the back cover comes off, it's free and clear and everything is accessible rather than being hidden under the main board. When it goes back on, there is no awkward wire connections to plug back in while holding the two loose halves (other than the gimbal wires, if you changed those). The Zorro and the TX12 are nearly identical functionally, as I understand. You should include the TX12 in some of your videos about the Zorro. Based off this video, I"m kinda glad I bought the TX12.
What's better, the tx12 or the zorro? I was thinking of the tx12 since it's cheaper and looks a bit nicer and more like a proper transmitter. It also has nicer switch layouts. But then the zorro looks like it fits in the hand a lot nicer. Which one do i pick? (Want a 4 in 1 module) (The jumper t pro was also on the list but i hated the buttons, had a small screen and was more expensive)
I don't have the zorro but really like the tx12 as a backup to the tx16s or when I want to pack light. The selling point for me is that the external modules are interchangeable between the two. Edit: but no flysky on the tx12 internal.
There is no way to know without holding both of them in your hands, but in general you want the gamepad style if you use just your thumbs to control the sticks, and get the TX12 if you pinch the sticks and want something smaller than the TX16S. There are lots of people who do the exact opposite though, so short of finding some local FPV people and asking to hold their radios you just have to make a judgement call.
It really based on your preference and how you fly. A pincher might prefer a tx12, a thumber on other hand would prefer Zorro. Of course, that just "general" idea, doesn't mean thumber can 't use tx12 and the same for pincher. You should think about the module loaded and modul available out here for each transmitter too...👌
