NEVER get out an talk to someone stealing your stuff... call 911 and stay silent... and only try to speak in camera if police is not getting there immediately and person is visibly turning into a threat possibly deadly one... that guy talking to the lady stealing from his yard was very wrong for opening door... lady didn't look armed... but, you can't guarantee that...
This may sound like a dumb question but how was the man in the white hoodie trying anything illegal? The only thing I saw was that he knocked on the door, rang the doorbell and looked through the window (that was a little creepy). He wasn't being aggressive, acting like he was on drugs or drunk, looking around suspiciously, eyeballing the home owners property, just seemed like he was at someones house he knew and was waiting for them to answer the door or come out.
