Love the International decals you have on the truck. I'm a CAT guy, but I've always had a huge soft spot for International specifically because of this engine. One of the most deadly, industrial, no-bullshit diesel idles out there.

VERY NICE i have a 1991 f350 dually rust free 150k miles all factory original. slowly buying parts here and there to clean it up, getting painted. some interior pieces, looks clean
I just got me a 2wd 5 speed stick 91 F-250 7.3 idi non turbo for $850.00 cash only rust is the core support and I have a new 1 to replace it. Truck has 769,851 miles on it put a new injection pump on and it fired right up.

Well the thing in most Dutch and other European city’s is..., if your diesel truck or car isn’t from a certain emission class or higher you’ll be fined automatically by cameras that register your license plate on entering the city. The height of those fines are varying from €90,- in Amsterdam, where I live, till huge fines like € 2000,- in other European city’s. It’s also not possible to get a parking permit for city’s if your old diesel is not from that certain emission class. For most diesel cars and trucks you can say that if it’s from before 2005 it’s useless to go in to the city’s.

Thanks. The injection pump is cranked all the way up. It now has a turbo and doesn’t smoke as much but runs better. Check out my other video after the turbo install
I haven’t personally. I have two idi’s both have pumps maxed out. I’ve ran my 92 like that since 2014. Neither trucks have pyrometers. I just don’t hold the fuel pedal on the floor all the time.
No the 6.9l and 7.3l idi diesels are mechanical vs the 7.3l powerstroke which is an electronic diesel and can be chipped. You can turn up the fuel at the injection pump on a mechanical diesel but that really doesn't gain you much

Yea it’s cranked all the way up. not had a problem with anything. It does have an exhaust temp gauge though.
