Don’t worry, you’re going to love 30! And 40 is even better! And so far, 50 isn’t too bad either. With age comes the ability to care less of what others think and to truly come into your own skin. Enjoy it! 😊
I cldnt have explained it better!! I'll be 50 in April! And I definitely could care less what anyone thinks...lolol...though my 30's were my favorite years...
This is what I told everyone awhile after turned thirty, ten years ago. You suddenly stop caring what others think and start doing your own thing and it’s so freeing. I just turned 40 and I’m hoping for more good surprises :)
I wanted to say I’m still happy the two worked things out and stayed together. I hope he recognizes your worth every day. I lost my husband two days after his bday, Sept. 18, 2021, in a semi truck accident. We had been separated but we were the best of friends…more than we’d ever been. He wanted to get back together and I just said we were better off friends. It wasn’t until he died that I realized I was still in love with him. Cherish all the time you have together and just keep working at it. You have a beautiful family.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I completely understand I lost my ex husband two years ago. He died of being diabetic type1. Stay safe and encouraged I'll keep you and your family in my prayers 🙏💕. Have a Wonderful day and week
Sometimes I wish I could turn back the hands of time, but I'm so grateful and blessed being the age I am at 44years old my birthday is in April, 2023 and my husband to be is such a good man plus he is so supportive in anything I do. So enjoy your day and week 🙂👊
I love cottage cheese and apple sauce, also cottage cheese with a slice of tomato, salt, and pepper. Possibly sounds odd, but both are honestly delicious!
Cottage cheese with canned pears or peaches!!!!! Adding pepper to the cottage cheese is always a must but if you’re going to try it out with the canned fruit-I’d skip out on the garlic salt. 😊
What a great haul, such a variety of items. I started buying those tortillas after you showed them on here a while back. They're so good & I'll never go back to the other ones. I hope you have a great week & that your son isn't too disappointed with the Lunchables.🤗💟
14:56 you can separate the tortillas in badges of 4, 6, 8... something like that, and freeze them, or the entire package, as well (only you would need to defreeze all of them every time you need to pull some out, it is more convenient to freeze them in badges), that way you can pull out the ones you are going to use in that moment, the tesxture may change a little bit, but they shouldn't get mold :) Sorry for the late comment!
For Walmart prices, you can use their app and scan any UPC code with your phone. I do that pretty often because the stores have been a mess around here lately. I don't like to be surprised at the register. Hope that helps!
I store my tortilla in the refrigerator they seem to keep longer, also you can bake them with cinnamon and sugar brushed with butter or bake for using as chips and salsa. Thanks for the haul I will be trying the frozen pizza…❤️❤️
Hey sweet friend. Praying y'all are all feeling better now. Fantastic haul. Love how real your hauls are. A mix of healthy and convenient foods. Have a wonderful day.
On those tortillas, you can put parchment paper in between each one and put them back in the bag and put them in the freezer. Pull them out one at a time as you need them.
Poor Boston! Hope the lunchable meltdown is not too bad! Hope you all are feeling better Kristin! Thank you for getting up a new video. I was super excited! Let me know how you like the reusable baggies. I have been eyeing them myself! 😉
Hi, I don't comment often but it caught my attention that you often say you were glad to have certain groceries as you talked about them. I thought that was a small but awesome show of gratitude.
I freeze those tortilla land tortillas. I just put parchment paper between them so they don't stick together. I reuse the same parchment paper too when I buy more. 😂
Another great video the tortilla land tortillas are great frozen I would recommend using parchment paper in between them when you freeze them. Can just reuse the paper each time you freeze them😊
My husband and I went to the grocery store Saturday night while we were out. I only had a few things that I really needed at the time. When we checked out, my husband said, “I’m really glad we didn’t have to get get but a few things, $189! I told him that I purchased what we needed and what will need for the next two weeks. Might as well get them while we out so I won’t have to go back before then. I’ve been on a pantry challenge and it has been wonderful to use up what we have and have just one backup. When we start the last one, I put it on the grocery list for the next time I’m out and about. Great video!!
I slice my ripe bananas and put 1 banana in a snack bag, and put the snack bags in the freezer in a freezer bag. You just take however many you need out and thaw them in the fridge for recipes , or keep frozen for smoothies. You can bake with them, use in oatmeal, make banana mash for toast. It's really helpful if you find marked down bananas too.
Hello, good Haul! Prices are similar here in Italy. Congratulations for the youtube channel, and for the recipes you propose for your family. Have a good day!
I was told months ago there's a shortage on all pasta noodles. I couldn't find those large shells either for the longest time. I should of bought 2 boxes. Thanks for reminding me to add Soft soap to my grocery list. Yes you can freeze the tortillas. I've asked other people about it and they all tell me you can. The Boursin cheese is so good. I make a recipe with Orzo pasta (that I thought was rice lol). Glad your all feeling better. ❤️
You can make homemade pizza lunchables with the small naan bread rounds, pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni. I tried it for one of my lunches and it’s really good.
It blows my mind how expensive groceries are. When I looked at your table I guessed about $225. Anyway, one thing you can try is sprinkling some everything bagel seasoning on the cottage cheese and scooping it up with the Wheat Thins. Thank you for the haul, I love when you do them.
Have you tried vacuum saving your leftover tortillas? I use my vacuum saver for them, lunch meats, cheeses, etc. it helps keep them way longer. Try cottage cheese with canned fruits or even the pie fruit filling. I even took pineapple ice cream topping and had it with the cottage cheese! Breakstone makes the little containers of cottage cheese and a topping, one of those is the pineapple topping. I’ve been looking at all my Walmarts for those Belgian Boys pancakes!
Not sure if anyone mentioned (I didn’t scroll that far down) but yes you can freeze the tortilla land tortillas. Just make sure to completely thaw before cooking them up!
I have that same lid for my Blackstone. I actually like the shape better because you can fit more under it! You can also use cottage cheese for the copycat version of Starbucks egg bites in your instant pot. They reheat great too. One of my faves!
@@KristinStepp I got the Aozita silicone egg mold off Amazon. I was also going to mention if you are going to try making sandwich bread Sally’s baking addiction simply sandwich bread is our favorite. You can use all purpose or bread flour with it. I’ve done it both ways and both ways are delicious!
Sandwich wraps/pinwheels with the tortillas are my go to when I buy them for taco night and need to use them up…but crunch wraps using Doritos instead of the hard corn shell are an option too Sautéed/steamed cauliflower with ground ginger is amazing especially making it with a beef stir fry with a soy sauce base and putting it over no yolk egg noodles 🤤 Cut up and sauté the sausages with the yellow rice and broccoli
Love the tortilla land tortillas. Yes freeze them! I keep some frozen all the time I'm the only one that eats carbs lol. Hubby is not a fan. Anyway they defrost well and cook perfect
I know I'm a little late in responding to this video but you had mentioned you just started to like snacking on Cottage Cheese and wanted to share a few ways I like to enjoy it that is filling and healthy: 1. Slice any color Bell pepper you like into strips and dip them in the cottage cheese 2. Mix half a cup of cottage cheese and half of an avocado (diced or sliced) in a bowl and eat with a spoon 3. In a bowl add half a cup of cottage cheese and half a cup of cubed cantaloupe on top and eat with a spoon Love you're videos!!
I love the tortilla land tortillas but like you I don't use them fast enough. I found kroger brand ones at my local store and use those! They come with like 12 and taste just as good
I grew up with cottage cheese on top of a piece of toast with lots of black pepper. My mom would make that for a quick breakfast many mornings and I loved it. So good. And Plochmans is my favorite yellow mustard. It has a great flavor! And I don’t think the Coke Zero was a bad price. That’s basically .50 a can. If you saw them in a coke machine for that price I’d say it was extremely reasonable! 😊
Thank you for the grocery haul. I love the Jimmy Dean pancakes on the sticks. I tried the Great Value pancakes on the stick and they’re disgusting. Even my six year old daughter wants the red box only lol.
Freeze your extra tortillas! We buy family size packs because it's cheaper, but we're like you guys...we can never go through that many in time. So I just pack up half in a gallon-size bag. Works awesome.
I use them for lots of things. Chicken/bacon ranch roll ups, chicken salad wraps, breakfast burritos, any lunch meat and cheese wraps (I run out of bread sometimes). I make tuna tacos too. Baked tuna steaks, shredded. Topped with slaw, the broccoli/carrot one has a nice bite to it. Any leftover tuna becomes tuna salad (reheated fish is obnoxious!)
I had cottage cheese with my eggs this morning! I add the green salsa to my eggs anyway but with the addition of cottage cheese it bulked up my protein intake. I’m also trying to lose some weight. I had lost some weight before Covid and back then I ate hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, and cottage cheese a lot!! My husband thinks I’m disgusting but it’s delicious 😆 I also enjoy it with fruit, or tomato, or some good old salt and pepper. Love your hauls and what’s for dinner videos!!
I’m going to try it with eggs in the morning! I need to try it with the tomato or fruit, both sound so good. I’ve been trying to turn josh onto it but he thinks it’s nasty also 😅 & thank you!! ❤️

Just a little hack for you if you want you can go to dollar tree and they sell forks and spoons and it doesn’t really matter if they get lost like the expensive ones! I use them for my kids!
Girl I'm the same with cucumbers! Lol for a long time I would try to eat cucumbers and it just tasted gross to me so I didn't eat them. And now I like them again lol same with tuna! 🤷♀️
Why do you buy chicken broth? You use a lot of rotisserie chickens, like I do. Just keep the bones and then makes brothe with a couple of carrots, cellery ribs (I know you don t like onions, but i use onions and garlice). sallt and pepper and a bay leaf. de-fat. SO MUCH BETTER!!!!
Because it's very fast and easy to use. Not everybody has the time or the energy to spend on making it homemade. Some days, people might just need to go the easy route and that's perfectly OK.
The lack of fresh produce is so odd to me. Is that how an average grocery shop goes in the US? Cauliflower just for you, a cucumber and 2 avos. I understand kids are picky, but never exposing them to anything isn't good either. Where are the apples, brocolli, spinach, tomatoes, green beans? Anything not in a package? Where I am, with 3 kids, half if not more of my groceries are fresh.
Cool for you girl. It’s not that way for everyone. If her children will eat this stuff then why would she waste money on food they will just throw out at school?
@Kristin Stepp when I eat a salad with ranch..have to have cottage cheese and French fried onions with all of the other fixings! Chef salad to the max!
If you want something BETTER TASTING then the boursin, try the Alouette Garlic and Herb spread.. Omg!! So so good. I've tried the Boursin. I wasn't a fan. So back to the other I went
That brand of mustard you got is my fiancé’s favorite brand! That’s the only brand he buys! We like Kroger hamburger meat better then the Walmart brand as far as the quality of it! Another great haul! Thank you for sharing! 💜💜
If you want something a little sweet but still healthy, try stirring unsweetened applesauce into your cottage cheese. Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy! :)
Plochmans is the superior mustard that I love. I especially like the red twist top because it's easier for me to open. The flip top caps always bust my knuckles, grrrr. I got the Great Value Hamburger chip pickles and they had no flavor at all. I was so disappointed.

I think Kristin and Josh are married 10 years on June 29, this year 2023. Maybe we will get an update?
@jeannettesparr9179 what happened?
Thank you so much! I am so very sorry for your loss 😔❤️
This grocery haul is making me excited for some summer time recipes. Just the sight of those skewers gets me ready. 😂
The “wipe” line cracked me up! 😂 thank you for another great video!!! ❤

I love cottage cheese and apple sauce, also cottage cheese with a slice of tomato, salt, and pepper. Possibly sounds odd, but both are honestly delicious!
Cottage cheese with sliced tomato is my very favorite! Especially with garden grown tomatoes in the summertime. Oh my word. 🤤🤤🤤
Cottage cheese with canned pears or peaches!!!!! Adding pepper to the cottage cheese is always a must but if you’re going to try it out with the canned fruit-I’d skip out on the garlic salt. 😊
I really need to try that! 😋
@@KristinStepp I've been having that as a snack since childhood. It's delish!

Yes, I'd like to know if they're easy yo clean, especially if something is a little oily. Let us know.
Yay for doing your own bread in the future. I love making Amish white bread, so easy and fluffy
u got me hooked on the boursin cheese and I luv the chicken recipe also!!!
Hi, I don't comment often but it caught my attention that you often say you were glad to have certain groceries as you talked about them. I thought that was a small but awesome show of gratitude.

Plain Greek yogurt with seeds, nuts, no/low sugar granola is a super good high protein breakfast or snack! I eat that every morning :)
Seeds being like pumpkin seeds and hemp seeds :) And then you can add some blueberries for sweetness.

Plochmans is the superior mustard that I love. I especially like the red twist top because it's easier for me to open. The flip top caps always bust my knuckles, grrrr. I got the Great Value Hamburger chip pickles and they had no flavor at all. I was so disappointed.
You can DEFINITELY use flour past the expiration date.
You really need to try cottage cheese with peaches 🍑 you'll love it
Have you ever had Grillos pickles? They’re my favorite!
Yes! They are so good! They don’t sell them at my Walmart 😔
Try cottage cheese with everything but the bagel seasoning and pretzel thins
That sounds really good!!
