  • In this video, I will be sharing my bento box for cold lunch ideas! I will be talking how I plan what I will put in each section of my bento box along with two ideas for how I put these cold lunches together with food I already have in my fridge and pantry.

    Big Hot lunches isnt a big thing where im from. Its mostly sandwiches, pasta salads or soup. I often see americans eating for lunch what would mostly be eaten at dinner, do you guys have a lighter dinner over there if yous have a carb laden lunch? How do yous keep physically comfortable?

      Americans typically have a pretty heavy dinner as well which is probably part of the reason why being overweight is such a big issue here as all of our meals are so big and heavy (including breakfast for a lot of people). I personally prefer a bigger lunch and a lighter dinner since it matches how our metabolism works. We tend to burn more calories during the day when we're active and less at night when we're typically just lounging around after dinner.

    Is it possible to gain weight using intermittent fasting by remaining in calorie surplus ? What change should be done in a diet to gain weight ? Increase calories, increase protein, or something else ?

      Yes it's certainly possible to gain weight while using intermittent fasting as long as your calorie intake is exceeding your calorie expenditure but I would actually suggest against intermittent fasting for weight gain since you're limiting the amount of time within which you can consume calories. For weight gain, I always suggest prioritizing increasing calorie intake of course and also increasing protein intake so that you're helping gain muscle at the same time. For the extra calories, you'll get some extra calories from increasing your protein intake and then I would suggest using healthy fats (such as avocado, nuts, nut butters, seeds, etc.) to increase the rest of the calories while balancing that out with moderate carbohydrate intake for a balanced diet.
