Ive never been On the Road, but to me, it seems like after the gigs are lined up, and if the bus is running good, its like a Vacation, then doing what you love to do at night.
Between getting there you have time to explore the new town, play and have fans love you and that is a thrill and then wind down, sleep and do it the next day. I could be wrong cuz ive never been in those shoes. I have almost all of his books, and albums, some of the movies, and i am so glad that now, he has millions. he has worked for it. I admire this man.

and this is a fantastic bus. i mean for a musician or artist this seems like heaven ! i am one of those musicians he talks allot about. i sit on tons of material , also understand management but i am too "autistic" to do the management. not too instable but too "autistic". its a differnet way to function.

What I love about Henry is how he managed to avoid the alcohol and drugs things. Wish I could say the same for myself. When I was in a band the label gave us £1k a week for "recreational" activities and put us in touch with the right people!

he did take drugs like LSD etc, nearly killed on a crazy trip in a car too. he wasn't driving but still put himself in that situation...

He said alcohol wasn’t a temptation for him, because it was just a depressant.

Best interview I've seen with Henry. He's not being much of a douche for the BBC.

There are PLENTY of interviews where he wasn't a "douche" for the BBC.

1:45 Do I hear Charlie Parker's performance of "Groovin High" in the background? Henry, you are a classy man.

im just happy that with all the mental issues Henry has to deal with. he deals with it in a good and constructive way. instead of a shitty way like anything illeagel and ending up in prison

Henry Rollins 2021 seems like a very different person, in a good way. Hard work with himself, I guess.

Anyone know the record store he was signing in?

I’d be surprised if it was still around. Digital media killed all the record stores.
