Hi David, I fully agree with your point about not understanding everything but man, it is getting tough to do that with the cloud. I am a cloud architect and the expected breadth for us is crazy as we're expected to dip into the details of software, infra as well as ML/DW concepts. Not sure whether it is due to a lack of skills in South Africa but I wish I could focus a bit more on less disciplines.

Once again thank you very much for giving golden advice to us. I was very distracted by using social media especially facebook etc but about two weeks ago I deleted my account. I wasted a huge amount of time by using the facebook. It was useless.

Great ideas from David. I have succesfully blocked out distraction by implementing very simple systems. But I get overwhelmed by the different topics I am learning, and that anxiety robs me from productive time and mental energy. Anybody else?

Although I haven't read it, the book is right - I passed my CCNA exam in (just) over 2 months by putting my mind to it. Small factors such as turning off your phone, or wearing headphones rather than listening through speakers when watching training videos! It seems a small factor but it goes a long way!
