Sorry for your loss, Joe. It’s so weird when people get into separate into different bubbles and you can’t relate to the people you once knew and the around you anymore. I feel it often, that alienation. Meanwhile, despite the war, Ukrainians have a sense of belonging and solidarity that they never fully had before.
