You name it, it’s all there… including my entire wash day process from beginning to end. Technique is still the same, but the view’s a little different now that my hair is longer. Yayyy! Finally!!! I’ve been waiting for this UPDATED wash, blow dry, flat iron routine video. 🤗 Okay questions: 1. How many weeks post relaxer are you? Looks like one or two weeks post. 2. How on earth do you use so little conditioner? I’m amazed. 3. How long does it take you to flat iron since your hair is so long now? 4. Can you also film an updated relaxer and trim video? Pretty please?! 😆 Lastly, you have the prettiest, healthiest, flowiest (is that a real word?) relaxed hair I’ve ever seen! Love it!! 😍Thanks for showing it is possible! @@AYFA323 Hey, AFYA! So glad you enjoyed! As far as sealants go, most oils are suitable and hemp seed appears to be a good candidate as it contains essential vitamins (incl. vit D & E) as well as omega 3, which are very beneficial to hair. But everything doesn’t work for everybody, so I would just say to try it and see if it works for you.

Hi dear Dolce I tried your routine. Let me tell you that it’s everything girllll!! Like listen. I was skeptical about the pea size condition but I was like what do I have to loose. It worked then I followed your blow dry and flat iron routine. It has been 3 days now I have been wearing my hair down and it is just flowing in the wind and I am getting lots of compliments. I usually roller set my hair but I wanted to try something new. I do my wash day weekly but at this rate my hair will still be looking cute on wash day😂I will have a hard time to wash it because I could still rock it. Thanks for sharing your routine. Oh and I must mention that my hair feels very smoothed and I am not experiencing any breakage neither any tangles 😊😊❤🙌🤝

I wash once a week and - believe it or not - I don’t add or apply anything to my hair as far as oils or serum until next wash day. 😉

Hey, Ona! On occasion, I will use a light protein conditioner like GPB by Aubrey Organics (I have an older video reviewing it), but I find that I don’t really need protein treatments for my hair.

Hey, Joanne! I like to reinforce the curl by rolling it up in my fingers as I flat iron and then use Pump It Up styling spritz as well as Nexxus hair spray to help maintain the curl when done. 😉

No real reason. Just out of habit. I’ve always used my comb to hold my hair.

I tried Infusium back in the 80s at a friend’s request. It made my hair break off. I may have had a relaxer at the time. I don’t remember. But it was a definite *NO* for me.
Hmm… that’s the first time I’ve heard of a leave-in causing breakage, but I guess that’s another example of everything ain’t for everybody. Hope you’ve since found one that is better suited for you and your hair.

Hey, Here for It! Yeah, a lot of drugstore brands can be drying and/or insufficient, but I’ve never had a problem with Garnier as it has really worked for me and my hair.

Your hair is beautiful; Think twice about using relaxers. Your reproductive health could be at risk. So many AA women are sharing their stories of health issues.

The current study released on relaxers didn’t yield any definitive connection between relaxers and women’s health (specifically cancers), but if you know of an article/source that states the contrary, pls provide the link as I would love to read it. @DolceDawn I relaxed my hair for 20+ plus years, ever since I was a teenager. I've dealt with several fibroids, polyps and an enlarged uterus. I used to bleed through my clothes and required blood transfusions. I had to fight to save my womb. All my OBGYNs told me to get a hysterectomy. However, I chose to walk by faith and make changes. I stopped relaxing my hair 7 years ago. It's thicker and healthier than ever. I get silk presses an it looks better than my relaxed hair. Since going natural, I don't endure the same issues as before.
@@diamondpearl6093 Many women, regardless of race, naturals and relaxed, will experience fibroids in their lifetime (unfortunately) and the medical community still can’t pinpoint why so many are affected. So I am sorry you had to deal with that and applaud you for walking by faith and choosing what’s best for you and your health. In the end, you have to be your own health advocate, sift through the “noise” and so-called “research”, and decide what’s best for you.
