Hands down the best Chromebook ever released. The most impressive part is the webcam: I don't recall seeing another laptop with such a clear image. Among the "cons" I would add one more: limited distribution. It is a problem that affects most chromebooks, which are close to impossible to find outside the US. Too bad cause this disincentives those like me that would be more than happy to pay premium for a better hardware experience.

It is obvious that you are not familiar with ChromeOS. So I appreciate even more the fact that you present this device as any other laptop/convertible running Windows, Linux or MacOS. Professional users will appreciate it in much more ways than only the hardware side of a very good Chromebook. First of all, the three pillars of ChromeOS: Simplicity, Security and Speed. Instant wake up, cold boot in less than 30 seconds, no IT management, auto-updates, etc. But also the fact that when you work in the cloud, everything is constantly auto-saved and you can be interrupted and pick back exactly where you left minutes or hours ago without to worry "did I saved my work?" Professional users will also appreciate that ChromeOS handles out of the box all the major protocols like SSH, SMB, USB, Print, Midi, Serial, etc. and the ease of use for software development. Finally, congratulations on the video making, very neat. Cheers!
Excellent Chrome book, no doubt. Camera was good and so are the mics. Hp seems to overall give you a good product value for your money. 3x2 screen ratio is excellent for a 14 inch or lower. For larger screens 16x10 is fine. Have a happy July 4th. Can you believe the year is half over. It is like snowball going down a hill. Time seems to go by faster the older one gets. Anyway thanks for another great review.
The full HD webcam is very welcomed, the internal mic is clear as well. I like the portability of the HP Elite Dragonfly Chromebook, the quad speakers, the excellent keyboard and all of the available ports! This is an Excellent choice for the business as well as enterprise community. Thank you again Andrew for a very thorough review and Happy July 4th to you and your family!!! 👍😁
Disagree. Tons of people use the Mac and don't use it to its full potential. They buy it for the build quality, the screen and the typing/touchpad experience. I can imagine teacher who want to have the same experience that their students have but something with more quality would buy this. Right now my windows machine is falling apart and I am considering buying this.
Hey Andrew i had a question about the aspect ratio. im on a 13.3 inch 16:9 chromebook. Would the dragonfly with black bars be about the same since its a tiny bit bigger at 13.5?
I love that there is finally high end Chromebooks like this, but there's little justification to buy this as opposed to a high end Windows laptop or a Macbook Air M2 for the same price considering the limitations in functionality. High end Chromebooks like this for under $800 (under $1000 for larger screen models) would dominate IMO
I think you're the only reviewer who opens up these chromebooks to show us the inside/upgradeability. Much appreciated.

unbelievable amount of content you've been putting out lately!
Yes and more to come the week

Just bought the I3 version of this. Currently on sale for $875 at HP. At this price, definitely worth it on the consumer side or enterprise
Great review as always, AMD!
Thanks really appreciate it

Thanks and happy 4th of July to you and your family
Any plans to review the X13s?
Yes very soon
@@andrewmarcdavid Nice. Absolutely nobody is covering it, and your battery test are always on point. Looking forward to it.
This Chromebook is amazing! That said, I can't see myself paying more than $800 for a ChromeOS device
Why?
$2165.. most expensive CB i have seen.. screen is nice and yea.. still trying to understand the price tbh. keep doing the best reviews✌️
which pen comes included with it? i'm not able to find the correct one on the website
Review the Dragonfly G3 please ! :)
Great review but there is no world where someone should spend above $700 on a chrome book. Chrome OS can run on a fridge.

@@pungkuss If it cost as much as MacBook, why not just buy MacBook lol
@@obidean3964 not everyone has an iPhone or is in the apple ecosystem
@@kdhawan2000 What I meant not just Macbook, but Windows also. Buy real computers than these overpriced Chromebook
@@obidean3964 I really don't think there is a lot left that a "real computer" can do but a Chromebook cannot.
Nice machine but just for biz as you say. Can the price really get as low as a normal PC bought in bulk? I have no idea.

TBH not really noticeable after a while and not a big deal at least to me. Thanks.
Just get an Asus ZenBook 14 oled, it has a 2.8k 90Hz oled display, 12th Gen i5, currently on sale for $499, enough said.
Yes amazing deal!

What would you want to do on a Mac that you cannot do on this?
👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷👏👏👏👏🇧🇷👏👏👏👏
very nice chrome book, but was also very pricey.
Please verify that this is or isn't a touchscreen.
1558$ for 8GB of ram!!
Hp have great design laptops but hp should need to take notes on the performance from asus then they can create perfect laptops
the price tag makes this a hard pass. I dont even see how any business could find it a savvy decision to drop even $1000 a piece on these
A very Pricy chrome book
So this machine can't run Windows natively? It's an Intel chip... Different architecture? I dunno. HP needs to release a Windows version of this
I saw the price and immediately quit the video. Sorry.
As I said geared towards enterprise and businesses
Too much for a Chrome book 😅

Get a macbook, it will be superior to thus
