    When I was watching the video, I saw the tracks on your chart plotter with numerous tracks south of Sandy Cay. Would like to see a video on the “Don’t Rock” passage. Every trip I use that passage but always get a little nervous on the first pass!

      I can do that! And yea, in a center console you can make it cutting on the inside of Sandy Cay but it can get tight. I generally don’t take that route and instead take Don’t Rock Passage at anything lower than mid-tide. I definitely can clarify that all in a video.

      Great!!! No center console. I have a Cobalt R33 OB with triple Yamaha 300’s.

    Hey Nick, Great video!! I started using those aluminum anchors and I love them, especially when you have to walk the anchors!!Ohh yeah let Meli drive the boat, and teach her how to dock too!! you never know when she may need to take the helm. BTW where is She from? We love watching you guys!

      I appreciate that! And they are awesome anchors. We have slowly been working with her on the boat but I want to make a full video of it! You never know when she will need it. It’s a safety thing. Meli is from Bolivia!

    I would say pulling has a huge time factor if you're at a crowded spot and there's a crosswind.

      I would absolutely agree would that. I should’ve talked about that situation

    How trip people walking on the beach. That rope could be 1/4 the length for a stern and especially in such calm conditions

    Nick, how come you don’t have an electric windless on this boat?

    U need a windless….

    • @NickOlinde
      @NickOlinde  4 месяца назад

      Absolutely not. For our uses it is just something else to break. This boat is basically exclusively used in the islands were we are always anchored in 30’ or less of water and so it is very easy to just manually deploy and pull up the anchor. It is also really hard to get anything fixed over here in the islands and windlass is something else to break. Those things combined make it not a good option for us. Simplicity is king

    You are not supposed to anchor in the beach sand. Needs to be in the water with a small buoy to identify the anchor in order to avoid people hitting it.
