The studio version is actually a different singer. Their original singer was Chris Barnes ( currently of Six Feet Under) this live version is their current singer George Fisher, aka Corpse Grinder

Hey bro, thank you so much for trying this! I know it's not easy listening... especially if you haven't heard this kind of death metal before (this genre has multiple nuances). "In my defense though", ;) the song I told you of is waaaay more "digestible". I was ranting about more groovy ones. I mean this one has it too, and it's a classic pure old school one but it's a bit harder to get into, especially for those that never heard death metal before (CC songs are pretty much the equivalent of horror/slasher movies), the hooks being a bit different hear because the song's focus is more on brutality and some technicalities (for '92 this was on another level). They don't take themselves too seriously, but the music is just "insane" in the best possible way. You might get these statements later if you will continue to listen to this genre). I didn't think you were going to pick this band so soon, man. So I think I should try and redeem myself a bit towards you, so... let's see... If you'll ever decide to do something from what I recommend (that I'm guessing you will enjoy much more), a rap/metal or crossover (or rap and roll, how I like to call it) band might help... maybe try Stuck Mojo - Metal Meltdown? Or if you wanna go full metal something that I can't get enough lately (it's melodic thrash metal) either Drones or Seven Archons by Eruption? Never expected you to do this, you were kinda brave! :D Keep 'em coming bro! Fun Fact: Look for mister Corpsegrinder rant about World of Warcraft :D See ya 'round!
@Bryan Widmer Yeah man... It's a good song if you ask me (coming from the point of view of an old school death metal fan). I didn't think he will choose it, tbh. I know I had some trouble getting into it, there are other catchier songs from this band, but the song is a staple for the genre, so maybe ain't bad, starting with the classics... right...? I mean, with a title like that, you can't expect Metallica, right...?
@Bryan Widmer Yeah bro, Everbitter is my... moniker, if you will. It's not a serious thing just me having fun with softwares (since 2004). It helped me develop some writing skills and understand better the process of composing and mixing. Haven't written a full song since 2010 I guess, but I started doing all these covers to understand better how these softwares work and to try to get an as real as possible sound, which I don't think will ever happen, but it's about "the journey" not the result ;) and it's fun for me.

Hell yeah good pick! Cannibal Corpse has been one of my favorite bands for at least 15 years now. I've seen them live 11 times over that time period. These shows are always nuts! I think you'd probably dig one of their songs with some more groove to it. They're all going to be this heavy, but theres some songs that you can make some more sense of groove wise. Try out the song Decency Defied from their 2004 album The Wretched Spawn. They have a music video for it, so then you can listen to a studio recording instead of a live song.

CC is a badn that when you listen you go into another dimension. These guys from back in tha Chris Barnes days have been a great outlet for stress release! You should also check out Dying Fetus. A good one to start with is "The Wrong One to Fuck With" more great stress relief! Cheers fam!
