Thank you for the feature! Glad they didn't... hate?...it? Lol
your song sounds amazing! immediately added it
Great song already added to my playlist
Your song was so sick! Reminds me of classic For Today!
@@rytr0nious we'll take it! ❤️
Awesome song guys!!
Hat guy has untapped metal head within him
For real. Just a matter of if he wants to put in the work or not
Definitely. Ponytail girl got it without the vocals too, so definitely give some instrumental albums a listen. Currents, Shadow of Intent, Intervals, August Burns Red, Northlane, Humanity's Last Breath, Invent Animate, Vildhjarta etc. all put out instrumental albums too.
@@esaedvik 10/10 list
Yup, just gotta do what I'm sure most of us did. Go from like SOAD/Disturbed to like Slipknot then maybe some As I Lay Dying/Atryu/Trivium etc until 15-20 years down the line you're listening to Surgeon and Scarlet Rot XD
@@rytr0niousThat’s almost exactly what I did😂. My progression went Iron Maiden>A7X>Slipknot>All That Remains>Suicide Silence. Now here I am almost 10 years later still listening to all those bands but also deathcore and black metal. Just got a Lorna Shore tattoo a few weeks ago😂
my theory has always been that its the vocals that throws the normies off more than anything else. theyre literally saying they like the guitar.
I dont think that that's the contention, its that they think all metal vocals are just pointless screaming and not emotional or meaningful lyrics
Has been for the 17 years I've been into metal. I personally hate cleans in metal unless theyre done well, usually it's some cheesy metalcore hook (like Bilmuri lmao) which normies eat up lol
literally the most annoying response, i get that it's a pleasant thing to listen to but they dont even try to respect the sheer skill it takes to do screaming/gutturals/growls
@@TaurineFiend Bro, these people don't listen to this kind of stuff, you can't really expect them to appreciate screaming skills and technicalities. All they can do is "vibe" or "not vibe" with the songs
It's an adquired taste, i eat Infant Annihilator for breakfast, but when I started listening to metal I considered gutturals as pure noise, nowadays I love them, I have been practicing for 1 year
I find it so funny that they are sitting completely still during these absolute filthy breakdowns, while I’ve already broken my neck in several places during this video😂
Real
Seriously. How do you not move
@@VildhjartaFanGurl for real, even if you don't like a certain genre/style/whatever, like doesn't the beat do anything for your soul? The guy who said I feel like you have to move your head or it doesn't count. YOURE DANG RIGHT MA GUY!
@@goatee21 in my heart, I like to believe that if you showed the right metal to a Sentinelese man, that man would headbang.
@@VildhjartaFanGurl this is deep, and f**king awesome. What a cool thought.

@@shadowyyCFH Those were done impactfully & were musically interesting. This one doesn't give me that vibe. But then again, no one can touch Dime.
@@xxswamplordxx2079 this typa guitaring's more percussive and it goes pretty hard
My suggestions just to see some shocked faces:
1) Infant Annihilator - Unholy Gravebirth
2) Signs Of The Swarm - Cesspool Of Ignorance
3) Paleface Swiss - The Orphan
Thx in advance 😅
these would slap some cheecks for sure
Orphan is one of the greatest songs of that year easily
PALEFACE MENTIONED
#4 Aborted (any song) 😆
i'd argue if you're gonna mention sots then it'd have to be amongst the low and empty
The Bilmuri overlay at 4:22 had me rolling 🤣💀
🤠
Man, Bilmuri is FAST becoming one of my favorite artists out there.
Bilmuri is goated for now everyday I crank my hog as he says while checking for flourideinthehardsheltzerwater
I was about to say that got me crankin my hog instantly.
@@soulrebel4lifeI don’t wanna catch you fucking posers wiping claiming to be the biggest fan

FUCKING YES@@kognitivewohlfuehlzone2204
@@kognitivewohlfuehlzone2204yeah they could use that breakdown or go with something batshit crazy like Future Doom, Mars Attacks, or Shanghai
Or Larcenia Roe.
subing to see this happen
You don’t understand how happy I am you ended that with STP Viking. If you’re not into this kind of music I can see who that would be hard to digest, Alex is an absolute beast.
Seeing him live is a spiritual experience
that death growl sure shakes up this 56 yr old memaw! If I was a religious womanI'd almost need to go to confession >.
I hope like hell they are on the lineup for Louder Than LifeI ruly wanted to see them while they were out with FIR@@thebekfestclub
I was surprised they didn't show the reactions to the gator growl. lol
Deathcore and its similar genres is a taste that has to be developed, you start small growing into it with linkin park etc then you get into metalcore with the duality of the heaviness and the cleans and at some point you just enjoy being set ablaze by this ingenious music
Excellently said. I feel like it starts with LP then slipknots Iowa. I then graduated STP and now I love cannibal corpse
I love grindcore, black metal, and death metal but I still fucking despise deathcore and metalcore
That vocal sustain on Worship Is Warfare is so metal
🤘🤘🤘
Added to the playlist
Thank you and you're welcome! 🙏
Thanks for the love!
Ma was vibing to Living Sacrifice.
No one can resist LS 🤘
I've listened to living sacrifice since I was a teenager. Blows everyone's mind when people find out they are a Christian metal band
I have started SO MANY people off with instrumental metal tracks. It never takes them long to love it. Then I start slowly introducing the harsh vocals.
I have a VERY high conversion rate, it almost always works
Despite what a lot of people think about it, I think popular nu metal is always a great start for people because it has heavy music, but it has a mix of clean and heavy vocals more often than not being more clean with only tates of heavy so it's not in their face as much. Also, with the hip hop influence, it can feel somewhat familiar for people who mostly listen to mainstream music. Also, within nu metal itself, you can start simple and progressively getting heavier before branching out into heavier sub geners. So even though some metal heads kinda hate on nu metal sometimes it's more about what the person you trying to convert might like and I like nu metal myself anyway
throw a litlle metalcore in there and you'll have them listening to a bunch of heavy genres in no time
Bruh the editor deserves a raise. The sax seal in the first to “THE GOAT” meme in this. Boy is on point
You have drummers runnin marathons, guitarists who shred in the quantum realm, vocalists from the 9th ring of hell and the ability to drastically effect your soul. Love it or hate it, metal is a powerful form of music and I absolutely love it 🤘
You forgot the bassists that would finger any girl straight into hell 😂
No, you don't.
It gets me hard!
First Diamonds to dust, now Bloodlines, HolyName, meet your maker and Haste the day!?! My guy. Your taste is impeccable!!!!
People who enjoy Christian metal? There are literally dozens of us!
@@shaynesingleton7525 Yeah that's pretty spot on haha.
@@shaynesingleton7525❤yeah, true
This would be an incredible Christmas Burns Red lineup
There was also Becoming the Archetype and Impending Doom in the first video as well as the demon hunter intro in this one
I like how most of the bands are Christian bands, these videos are helping me expand my Christian metal music lol
Bilmuri absolutely killed me. He's so happy to be here lmfaooooooooooo. Dude is awesome
Johnny cranck
He's just happy to be here wherever "here" is, truly. Went to a show of his a little over a week ago, and he seemed super grateful for it all.
The Slaughter ending perfect!
Throwing Haste The Day in there! Nostalgic 2006
I've frequently listened to Slaughter to Prevail at the gym. Glad to see them represented lol
I love seeing all the Christian metal in this, makes me happy 👏
I love that Living Sacrifice was included. Such an underrated band.
Agreed! They're incredible! Easily in my top three metal bands of all time.
Never heard of them but they sound good.
With the GOAT layover 😤😤😤 that's what's up.
Living sacrifice is excellent. I remember walking to the mall to buy ghost theif when it came out
great name
Bilmuri is literally so goated. Love showing non-metal fans his music. So good
Edit: anyone who says they can get behind the guitars and drums just needs to be eased into it and they’ll get that acquired taste
I can definitely see why people that don’t like metal would hate after the burial and really heavy metal. Playing them more melodic metal bands would definitely a better choice
That airhorn drop on Laurentian Ghosts hypes me up so fast, it's instantaneous.
It hypes me up but I can't help but giggle like a little kid every time 😅
No gym playlist is complete without Malevolence
Every single one of these guys would've loved the opening riff of 'On Broken Glass' for sure \m/
Oh they will learn to love them screams. I used to hate the screams in metal years ago but loved the instrumentals and grew to love the vocals in time just as much. Also it’s good to see a genuine react channel that doesn’t pretend to like everything they hear.
Guys it’s official, keep making these vids, and we sure as hell will keep watching them. Great content
Thank you! 🤘
I'm surprised by the amount of underrated Christian metal bands on these videos! Thats awesome dude!
Homeboy predicted when the the lead part starts again, and headbanged. He's a "light" metal head for sure lol. Soon to be a convert. Keep slaying em brudda
Really enjoy Bilmuri’s anabolic spudsman with the sax solo on this video. I wanna be friends with whomever had input on that
Have you ever listened to Where Owls Know My Name by Rivers of Nihil? Absolute banger
The Flame That Guides Us Home/Not I intro and the Deluxe Edition of True Defiance makes me so happy. You should blindside people with I Am a Stone after playing something like Someone to Hate or Crucifix to set up the whiplash effect of the same band having super different sounding songs
I also love the fact that at least half of these bands are just rockin' for Jesus. I'm glad the Christian Metal genre is still pumping out killer tracks. If you haven't heard Thus Saith The Lord by Reformed (Victor Borba), highly recommend. That song goes hard
That's a great idea! Glad someone noticed True Defiance 🤣
I just recently discovered Reformed, they sound awesome!
@@RazeHellMedia True Defiance is one of my all time favorite albums. Although I really like most of DH's discography
Ahhh Bilmuri was such a good selection.
It’s definitely a good way to ease someone into metal. He’s got so many groovy and melodic bits in his shit
This poor girl. I think she may be permantly traumatized. She was diggin Blue 42. Lol
Stoked to see Haste the Day on here. I feel like no one talks about them anymore but they slappppp
ol Haste the day.. I miss those dudes. I was at the Haste the day vs Haste the day (both line ups took turns playing songs) show at Rhinos in Bloomington Indiana. Was sold out, so i got an extra ticket from someone in the parking lot. The venue stamps your hand so I pressed my hand against a few of my friends hands and we all got in. The rhino stamp was mirror imaged, but they didnt notice.
I didn't know they were even still around. I saw them in 2006 with BTBAM, ETID and Bleeding Through
"I feel like I have heartburn" was the line of the year.
Haven’t heard Haste the Day since back in HS 2004-05 that brought me back.
I miss them so much 🥲
It’d be hilarious to see them react to the ending of “To the Hellfire” I don’t think they’d be able to handle it lol
Ole dude in the hat was vibing after his triple scoop before the sesh
You got Bilmuri on here, instantly a 10/10
I love you so much for putting Blue 42. Haste the Day was soooo good
This is fantastic! Not only are the reactions great but I'm discovering some new to me music, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
the slaughter to prevail reactions were just priceless
Even as an experienced metalhead ive never heard of blue 42, thanks for putting up some great tracks!
Haste The Day was so freaking fun back in the day
Living sacrifice is so good, just heavy stuff, the hammering process changed my life at 12 years old
The BILMURI love brings a tear to my eye.
Can't hear a haste the day song and not want to go and listen to entire discography back to back
Y'all turned me onto some bangers, thanks! Even if your co workers may not agree haha
I guarantee a trick to help you like any song. Head bobbing/banging gives you 60% more enjoyment.
The dude with white cap and and brunette girl were enjoying those songs and the ones completely still hated every one
Living Sacrifice is band I haven’t listened to in ages. I had one of their albums in high school and it was by far the heaviest music I had ever heard at that time(late 90’s). It stayed that way for many years, and in many ways was my introduction to brutally heavy music. The closest thing in that period of my life was Fear Factory’s album Obsolete. Now I listen to bands like STP and Lorna Shore.
Nice to hear some after the burial. Absolutely underated. BALANCING ON CANNONBALLS!
Would love to see this but with more of a modern core sound, something like Motionless, Polaris, Erra, hell maybe even Beartooth. Throw in some electric callboy as well lol
Johnny being overlaid in Anabolic was perfect
Living Sacrifice changed my life. I mean the first incarnation ❤❤❤
I love metal music, it's all I listen to. But even I have my limits and Viking by Slaughter to Prevail takes the cake.
Saw bloodlines last year at heartsupport fest loved them!!
I'd love to see them live!
Throw a curveball and have them do like Prog Metal or Symphonic Metal to kind of show what still fits in the Metal-Sphere
Throw in some Symphony X, Amorphis, Orphaned Land, Opeth for some variety
THE MIGHTY LIVING SACRIFICE, LETS GOOOO🔥
THE BEST!
Video has me wanting to run through a brick wall and that old dude was like “this is bad” like mr Mackey from South Park
The Raven Autarchy needs to be on this list. Other than that a fantastic pick on songs, especially Living Sacrifice and Haste the Day!
Holy crap, Blue 42 was in my playlist for years in the early 2000s. These videos are great.
this is great content! A solid mix of gym culture and brutal music will go a long way.
Thank you!
Hat bro is one of us now. His face is one of realization: "oh, I could have had this in my life when things were shit? I missed out"
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS you are tempting me to make a video myself doing the same thing
Fun Fact I actually used to fall sleep to Haste the Day when I first got my Disc-man
Also, idea, expose them to Metal Covers :D The whole Wolves at the gate album would blow their minds
Holy sh*t, almost forgot Haste The Day. Didn't listen to them for like 15 years or so. I am just 34 years old, but obviously old as f*ck.
Omg the blue 42! 🤘🏻 Yall really have the greats in these vids
i feel like you could get some of these guys on board with some fit for a king or invent animate
Been listening to Living sacrifice since 96 or 97… so awesome!
So underrated!
Love the use of Demon Hunter. They don't get NEARLY as much recognition as they deserve. Favorite band since 02 🤘
Into despair by currents. The breakdown in that is crazy good
Song choices are A+ my guy
Thank you 😁
Usually I just watch these without much movement but you made me LOSE IT when you played HTD. I played haste the day at my wedding, and the wife and I went to a haste the day reunion show a couple months ago in Indianapolis. I absolutely get down to those guys.
Sounds like the coolest wedding ever. haha That's awesome you got to go to that reunion show! I'm jealous.
Shoot. In my eyes it definitely was lol.
I saw them back in like 15 for their last show, and then when they announced a reunion I immediately bought tickets.
It's nice that some deathcore bands release instrumental albums too. Love to just cruise around with some chonky guitars.
Check out the new osiah album instrumental it's crushing
As a MN boy, After the Burial will always be at the top of my favorites. I’ve seen them live so many times and they just djent it home every time. Thanks for including them!
Dude Kublai Khan would be great for a part 3 if you ever do make one. Watching people react to Matt’s vulgarity is amazing.
I've listened to living sacrifice for at least 20 years now. They always deliver.
They're so good🤘
Love the emphasis on Christian groups! Worship Is Warfare was an _instant_ add to my playlist
Thank you so much!
I haven’t herd blue 42 in a long time thats a classic banger!
OMG Viking by STP... I started crying, I've never listened to that one; the heaviness launched me, that straight up goes to my playlist
If you like Viking you'll like all of their stuff. I sincerely recommend listening to all of their albums.
Misery Sermon is my personal favourite from them. But they literally never miss.
*I know STPmetal, since the release of the track "Baba Yaga" in 2021, and since then the band never vanished from my playlists, the tracks may change from time to time, but there are always a bunch of their tracks in the playlists present.*
🔥😈🔥🎵🎸🥁🎸🎵💿🔊🎭😈🐊
The Bilmuri was a nice touch. And the perfect part was used!
The metal mom is definitely more into than she's letting on. Lol. 🥰
The intro song I was like, "YESSSSSS!!!" That was the band that got me into heavy metal growing up!
Let them try Netherwalker, Thine King Weeps for Mercy
Ooh yes!
I loved the transparent image of Johnny with his thumb up after the breakdown hahah. I love Bilmuri so much.
Something tells me my man grew up on Christian metalcore. Only my homies ever knew who Demon Hunter/Becoming The Archetype were.
It's true. 😁
Really good video in the same format that others have done before. For some reason it felt unique - the listeners were actually engaged and giving the music a fair chance. It's very difficult to get non-metal listeners to stomach "harsh vocals" but this lot was far more fun and light hearted than it usually goes for me. Thanks4Content
Dude appreciate the Living sacrifice shoutout. Been listening to them niggas for years and not a single person I’ve ever come across knows em
Bro hat guy has some metal in him
Demon Hunter AND Haste the Day, thank you for the throwback. Time to relive some memories
Please continue with these videos!
We're working on more!
Ahhh man should’ve showed them that Saxophone breakdown. Next vid please!!
You should do more melodic metal compilations. Do some In Flames, Sonic Syndicate, Dead by April, ADTR, etc. I think the reactions will be just as good. Just think you shouldn't throw them to level 10 when they are new to metal. haha
We're working on something like that for next week! 🤘
@@RazeHellMedia glad to hear it. I look forward to that.
Vail of Maya, Periphery, and The Ghost Iside Me
Love the band choices so far! Requesting Phinehas and Lorna Shore in pt 3!!!
Hahahah ngl i was shook first time i heard Brook come in for Devil. Christian metal slaps
Love that you put the djent horn song in
After the Burial is one my favorite djent bands, too bad they didn't play more of this song it's just gets crazier and crazier as the goes 100% Djent. RIP JUSTIN LOWE
Worship is warfrare....and the after the burial track. I am going to listen to those once i am done watching this.
Hope you enjoyed it!
I see that Demon Hunter album cover in the back. I love you Armor Gym youtube guy
