I have blue chiffon, white chiffon and pink chiffon rose of sharon bushes. I just love them so much and before the double I really wasn't a fan of rose of sharon bushes. I wish I had found the sugar tip because of the variegated leaf pattern. They can be VERY difficult to move, they have good deep roots.

LOL, notice how you've moved "home" and people want to get in your business? It's your blankety-dang fence, by george! My neighbor and his son are putting a new one in for me and cripes, they're expensive. And I'm not being a copy-cat but I'm putting in 2 rose-of-Sharon in as soon as he finishes and 3 more this fall. I'm narrowing my color choices down so I'm excited to see yours. I love those leaves.
You are so right about the fence it’s not cheap at all and with just moving in it will have to wait. Our neighbors just moved in too so it’s not something we both can do right at the moment. @@GardenObsessions Probably not so well. They need to go through a hard freeze for a number of days for the root to go into dormancy. I'm in Michigan. My mom loved peonies it's the first flower that I remember learning about growing up. ☺️
