I love that you finish these with Scripture!!! Good to find other Christians!! I'm in Southern Oklahoma and love going to Arkansas and love these good Arkansas fishing videos!!
Baron Fork Creek in Northeast Oklahoma has a great population of Neosho smallmouth. It's one of the few places in Oklahoma with such a healthy population of native smallmouth that haven't interbred with Northern smallmouth.
Man, John! Your videos just keep getting better and better! The intro alone with the drone shots and stuff is awesome! Very professional work for a humble Christian country boy with no formal videography training! Keep em' coming, Bro..Thanks!
Welcome to my home state! I live in Missouri now but ARK will always be home in my heart. My family has over 100 acres of farmland out there that’s bordered by a river. Feel free to stop by. first round of Dew will be on me. 👍🏼
John , Great Video it reminds me of a creek that I fished back in 1998 in Middle Tennessee we caught over 110 Small Mouth bass that morning. Thanks for sharing your trip . God Has Blessed You. God Bless. Tim L.
I was deep in the creek today and there all of a sudden was a flash flood warning. This is a long creek that dumps into the river about half a mile where I was fishing. if I didn’t call my dad me and my buddy would have died, the water goes up about 8 feet every time we have rain and we just had the worst thunder storm my 53 year old dad has ever seen. Always check the weather right before you go fishing. We checked yesterday and it changed. Thankful for my dad picking us up so fast because things got real real fast
So great to see you in my neck of the woods brother. You have gotten me through many a day during the winter when it's to cold to fish or I can't go when the weather is pretty. I watch every video you upload!
John your videos really do have healing powers brother. My 6 month old doberman pup suffered a tradegy this weekend, left me all messed up inside. Was completely lost in the wallowing then I see your vid pop up and now I'm feeling a bit ready to get back outside. Thank you so much!
The King's is pretty awesome. Did 27 miles down it last summer on the yak. Some great small mouth in there. Snaky as hell though! Had one swim up and kiss the boat and dive right back down.
Come on man, not trying to jump down your throat but please don't post specific spots like this on RUclips or any social media. It's not good for the sport and draws unneeded attention. Let people have the fun of finding spots themselves.
The little Neosho looked great brother. Glad you and Patrick didn't get washed out. Love anywhere you can get a line wet for smallies. The little guy nicknamed Scar has seen some things. Safe travels and blessings John
John, nothing beats waiting for Small mouths with a can of small - medium crawdads 🦐. Keep on 🎣 fishing. My Grandma & I sat down she cooked 15" smaller & a crappie from her brothers pond. They are both gone......but some memories last a lifetime. That was Ohio. Then I caught a 10lb channel catfish & cooked it for my mom....she passed in another state it was 100° that day I was 🎣 fishing for bass at a large pond I hadn't much luck 🤞 there before but when it's hot Tip, fish the Shade! Best wishes, may God be with you. 🙏 ...
Great trip, John. Thanks for sharing the places you fish. I know you don't want to ruin a spot by publicizing it but, it is nice to know where you are. Keep on, love your vids.
@@permitfisher Lol, John is a young man. He has time to develop an interest in fly fishing. Also, the creeks he likes to fish are mostly small and tight to fish with a fly rod.
Yeah, I once had a 7'(to the best of my recollection) fiberglass rod. Think maybe a 5? Anyway, it would work the more open areas and large pools. Nowadays I usually use a 6' ultralight spinning outfit for those little trout creeks here in NC.
Beautiful little river and low, I probably would've passed it up for a trout stream! Wish there where rivers with small rock like that, to make it more easy for me to wade around here. Would like to wade and search the banks for arrowheads, big history there. Principal Chief John Ross, leading the Cherokee through the Trail Of Tears. Choctaw Indians where removed from the state in the early 1800's, sad times. Gorgeous state! God Bless you, (Glen). WV.
Awesome creek. The drone footage and music are really taking the videos up a notch. Keep up the good work and editing. I look forward to your videos every other day.
I wish you would let some of us know the name of the creeks when your out of state bc I go to Arkansas a bunch and always looking for new places to fish. And it's a beautiful place
I would love to fish with you brother! I have 3 rivers in my back yard in Missouri that are prime for smallmouth and multiple spots that are trophy areas
Thanks for another great video John.... love the drone footage too... glad you are able to explore so many sites... just shows us we may have several fishing areas right in our own backyard... take care... God Bless... ~D~
U need to try sylamore creek in mountain veiw and we used shakey heads with plastic crawfish and Ned rigs and caught over 150 small mouth in a day it’s in south sylamore Arkansas!
Nice video man love your videos keep up the good work and I really appreciate your videos I am loving them and those were some nice smallmouth bass that you caught
Try Springdale rock creek best fishing spot I grew up around it caught some monster bass from 4 to 6 pounds also caught a huge bluegill the size of my hand
Great video. I have a ? for you. You use braid alot. Do you ever have trouble with braid putting groves in your end rod eye. Just wondering. Thinking of using braid but my rods are pretty expensive. Didn't want to ruin them. Thanks for all you do.
why do i feel like when fish get well fished they think they are being abducted and when i saw that bass following his friend i was like he's trying to save him
Not to be a narc, genuinely curious. When you travel to other states do you buy fishing license(s)? I live in Central KY and would love to get around to Ohio and TN for some creek fishing, love the vids!
I love your fishing show , I just have one suggestion . Try to slow your speech about 50 -70 % especially at the beginning of show at the intro. I’ll enjoy your show no matter what ,but I’m critiquing , to better your show , and to gain some people that aren’t as ,…..forgiving as me ;I tried to say a less dramatic adjective as forgiving but that’s all I could think of. Seriously , you have a great show and I love your Bible verses .

I love river and creek fishing! It's a skill to be able to read the water, but once you learn it's so rewarding!

The Ouchita river and the Saline river are nice
You can't beat a day wading a stream like that. Nice video
Went through little Neosho a few years ago. Never thought I'd see someone fishing there online years later
You should try kayaking the Kings River in Arkansas there’s good smallmouth.

I appreciate you still travel for fishing. Gas prices being what they are, it makes it hard for me to explore as much as I'd like to.
I love NW Ark. I was born up there. What a beautiful fishing spot and day!
I’ve been fishing for neosho small mouth in north eastern Oklahoma since I was a little boy, awesome fish species!!
I like the music intro and the drone shots! That is a beautiful place! Lots of nice fish!
Beautiful place to fish, super clear water. Totally full of fish.
so glad you stopped by the area!
Can you recommend a river to wade in North Georgia for smallmouth? I greatly appreciate your verses at the end of your videos!

Next time you are in the area you should go to Crooked Creek and catch some fat brownies.
I don't see a listing for that floppy rubber crawdad you used
I'm hoping the doctor clears me to fish after my appointment tomorrow. I'm 4 weeks out from double bypass.
