We wanted to spray a battleship hypershift using ZTH over Shadow Grey. The results were not what we expected. Enjoy :)

I think the shadow grey base gives it a smokey, dreamy haze to it. ??? The color shifts are just as hard as the black base....but there's something softer here. I absolutely love it! ❤. Well done guys! 5K out of 5!

It’s the fun of any kind of lighter colour like greys or whites
This kind of reminds me a bit of the Mystichrome that can be found on earlier Mustangs. Gotta say, I think you picked the right car for this combination. And yes, it is pretty wild. I could only imagine that it looks way better in person though.
they were trying to replicate the mystichrome a while back -

This pearl over Flex Blue would be a great approximation of Mystichrome

This shift honestly with the amber pop reminds me of an exotic once in a lifetime sunsets you would only find on a tropical island. Beautiful shift! 5+ for me as well❤
This definitely comes closer to the titanium look I think you were shooting for awhile back. It reminds me of mall kiosk pocket knives... but in a good way. Also, I still want to float the idea of a long supercut of all the mixing scenes set to soothing music.

I was about to comment the exact same thing, cuz this is the welded titanium look they tried to shoot for last week, like this gets a lot closer to the look they were going for in my opinion, especially compared to last week's video
I'd watch a supercut of the dispersion blade mixing scenes. 😃

That is quite possibly the deepest, smoothest, most solid look I have ever seen from a hypershift. 5/5, easy.
Still waiting on the ZBB with a little interference on top for a twinkling night sky, though. >;P

I m not a green person, but the green on first seconds of mixing, it was fabulous!
The final result is amazing. So many shades with just a slight shift of the camera. It s a real wonder to move from green to purple when it drives by. definitely a 5++ with that one!

Nailed it again, boys! I loved it over the green, but this was wild! When the first shot came up and it was pink, I knew we were in for something special. Solid 5/5, lads.

Long time viewer, first time commenter. This is in my top 3 of everything you’ve done. From aqua to mauve to hot pink to orange to navy, back to green. It’s fantastic!
This is a hands down 10. Everything works so well together. The color shifts, colors, and body lines come together perfectly.
this looks way better over shadow gray than on black. Love this. Now I'm wondering what would happen at a 5g per gallon pigment load? Glad you filmed this on a sunny day too so we can see those yellows and oranges come out!! 5/5

Honestly, this is mind-blowing! Are you sure this isn't the welded titanium effect you were shooting for last week? I give it 5/5 any day of the week looking at it with fresh eyes each day of that week. I want it!! 😮
I see what you mean about reducing the hyper shift effect. I actually feel like if you did this again with a lower pigment load, maybe 30% less effect, it would be fantastic. If you could get something more like a ghost hyper-shift effect that would be 👌🏼

Holy COW! That is just all over the place. Standing still and moving the camera around it, the car looks CGI. Seriously like it's been photoshopped in after the fact. That is intense, bold, and blatant. Wild doesn't cut it. 5/5. Definite work of art!
that color change is CRAZY, so pretty. i'd LOVE to see the holo over top of this. i bet that would be the most gorgeous thing ever. Like a brilliant gemstone driving around the city

I love this one! You might be surprised that I am no car enthusiast, and am in fact a bit obsessed with eyeshadow and nail polish, but it’s for the same reason I like your channel…the mutichromatic finishes just do it for me! Anything shifty, iridescent, holographic, or just good ol’ shiny, I can’t get enough of it! Go figure. I’m here for those shiny, shifty paint jobs!

Wow, this is a solid 6/5 for me! Definitely got that welded titanium look this time around, and shadow grey was defs the one to go for! Nardo grey was definitely the one of the speedshapes I wanted to have done, even the white one if I remember correctly was a subtle yet beautiful one, but this is definitely my favourite of the bunch! I'd rock this any day, and the best of all is it's not too "in your face" either, it's smooth and beautiful. Well done DYC!
I think this is a better simulation of welded titanium than your actual attempt at simulating welded titanium. Can I just add that I really appreciate all the time and effort you guys put in to preparation prior to the beginning of each video. These cars have to be stripped of the last experiment, stripped of trim, masked up and base coated every time. That’s some serious dedication.

Retired after 40 years as a car paint sprayer and very impressed watching your blog I was using pearls in a water base system when I last held a gun four years ago obviously things have moved on a bit goes without saying the undercoats play a major part in coverage fascinating stuff I will watch more enjoyed it

You know what I see when the camera pans across the hood? 80's Miami synthwave sunset. Like, this gives me all sorts of 80's bright neon vibes in all the right ways. I like this color combo!

Ughhhhhh just out of this world gorgeous. Someone said 6/5 and I'm with them. The pink shifts up around the headlights contrasting against those lavender/green/unearthly blue had me making illegal noises... however, I have just one contention, that being I originally wanted to see the nordo (nardo?) grey due to the lighter more subtle tones. Like this car looks astonishing without a doubt; I would kill to get a car with this dip. But you do really prefer your darker projects (as far as I've seen, I've been following you for a couple of months and haven't gone through your entire library so someone correct me if I'm wrong) - I have seen you voice your dislike of pastels, but as an artist, I love my pastels. I understand that doesn't necessarily translate onto a car, so I could just be totally wrong; obviously you know best. But yeah I would be elated to see what a whole body looks on that lighter grey bc I was so in love with that little test piece you sprayed. Or some more subtle or pastel dips in general.
