I'm delighted that you now have a windows driver for this unit .... but you guys now need to have a PC output on this unit (such as USB 3, or T'bolt 3, or Eithernet connection), so that no >in between< adapter is needed. ... I spoke at length with Asus (who makes my current state-of-the-art motherboard) on using an adapter to connect Thunderbolt 2, to Thunderbolt 3, and they told me on no uncertain terms that there definitely would be a loss of performance. Therefore, to get my money, please eliminate the need for an >in between< adapter, and I'll buy one straight away! Thanks again!
I'd love to buy the AXR4T for my PC DAW, but so far, it's Mac' only. When will you guys upgrade the connectivity of this unit? Thunderbolt 3 has already been out for OVER 2 years!
Hello, the PC and Windows drivers are coming out very soon! Please stay tuned. The Thunderbolt3 specifications were unclear and adoption was limited when the AXR4T was under development. We decided to use Thunderbolt2 because of its established availability and connectivity. The bandwidth of Thuderbolt2 is more than sufficient for the application, and there is no appreciable increase in latency compared to Thunderbolt3. Also, we are using a slot-based interface so a future upgrade is possible.
@@AudioInterfaces Thank you for responding! This is music to my ears! ... I've invested heavily on a killer PC DAW, and I was just about to give up on you guys! ... but now, I can't wait till you have one of these that just flat out works on Windows 10 with no special type of adapter needed ... USB 3, ... T' bolt 3 (would be my personal preference) ... OR Eithernet connecting would also be great! ... Please hurry! ... There is GREAT music waiting anxiously to be made right now! :)
The sound on this unit is outstanding but I honestly don't think you guys could have done a worse job marketing this. I believe the 32 bit converters are actually groundbreaking but the consensus in our world is still that you would not notice a difference yet I hear a clear difference in separation in space around the instruments Especially in sonic States review who used a 32 bit 192 kHz recording session. Frankly I also think the price is too high Particularly since the Neve preamp Coloring is done with DSP and not an actual analog circuit. At $2000 US this could have been an industry disruptor. We need more information on the converters, more live recording sessions showing just how much of an improvement this really is and a better explanation of the technology. Universal audio compared their new Apollo to top of the line prism converters in a video on RUclips and they held up. They had a lot of technical expertise and knowledge to explain exactly what they did to achieve such an improvement. The marketing around the AXR4 interface is too vague.
Hello, it is called Mic McMicsson, but he likes to be called Zen. On a more serious mater, the video was recorded by Yamaha on a Studio in Japan, therefore we do not have access to that information.
Thank you guys for the great experience! I had a blast!
When you gonna release this song!!!?
Nice!
우와 스타인버그 데모에서 뵙다니! 한국분이신 걸로 알고 있어요. ㅎㅎ 앨범을 자주 살 수는 없지만 음악 정말 잘 듣고 있습니다!
