Looks amazing, obviously sounds amazing, however I think for the price I’d be expecting 8 preamps and the RND Portico plugs included as part of the DSP.
The question is.. since there is no where near enough DSP to handle 28 inputs, does it have a hybrid monitoring mode within cubase, like the new apogee interfaces have with Logic? I.e full cubase mixer integration with the ability to also add native plugins for monitoring as well as the DSP? Without a massive latency increase?
I am really just so disappointed with the DSP.. no guitar amps like the older USB interfaces.. why not put enough DSP to put EQ and comp on every channel, and 2 global rev x reverbs? I mean all 28 ins sharing the same reverb send? Come on. One for drums and one for other stuff is not too much to ask. The Apollos are just way better value, sorry Steinberg. There should be 3 or 4 of those yamaha DSPs in there, which would add like $60 cost to each unit.. at that price, big woop, you could retail it for $100 more and have enough DSP to handle what one needs.
Best Teaser EVER! Got me hyped AF.
This Is the best Audio Interface I have worked with, I have the new USB 3 version of AXR4. Earlier I vas a Antelop fan. I have now changed side.

And how to connect with my PC (Windows) if i dont have Thunderbolt 2 port? Thank You
Does this have more DSP for more effects instances than the pathetic FX count on the previous USB interfaces?
