Crazy to think that this lovely reverb is only available to those of us who happen to own a Steinberg interface. I always use this on my vocals, I really love it.
I have the 22c and an audient , both sound great the audient pres are better in my opinion but the sheer versitality of the 22c is great . I have a lot of different mics and they all perform well on the 22c , the only issue I had was audio dropouts on win 7 usb3 . Since I upgraded to win 10 no issues at all . Bang for buck is great opinions always vary and there are far more expensive interfaces but for the price this is great . Zero latency monitoring is great . I don’t use the vsts in Cubase pro don’t need them . I’ve got no complaints not had any crackles pops knobs fall off etc compared to the older version it’s superior in every way . Depends what headphones you run for volume level ive got five pairs and the cheap presonus pair run really well I only use them for tracking and cleaning up vox .
I have already watched a few episodes regarding the effects built into the interface and I still do not know if it is possible to record directly to Cubase, for example, a connected synthesizer with effects that are built into the interface, e.g. UR44C as an audio track? By the way, this reverb sounds amazing ... 🙏🎹🎶🎵🎤
the problem with steinberg reverb for me is that the reverb i normally use puts me in the distance and the steinberg only creates a reverby anbient. I hope the Yamaha reverb can do both. for instance on one track the vocals acting more like an instrument in the distance bleeding into the rest and THEN creating the Anbient together if i use steinberg reverb it is super direct thanks to clearer AD's and stuff but its almost too direct so its sounds kinda "german" and doesnt leave much to imagination. Or you extend the time and there is nothing but an unasable but interesting anbient mess.
Looks like you (Dom) are using the Output plattform desk in Kodiak Brown, right? Do you like it, I'am planning to buying one myself, but are actually unsure if it is worth it...
Thanks for your videos. I also have a Shure SM7B and a Steinberg UR22C. In your video the gain is turned up to the maximum. How do you manage not to hear rustling/white noise? thanks
