if I’m using the UR44c on iPhone to live stream can I connect wirelessly from iPad to control the mix while streaming?
Best interface i guess. But i have some doubts to be clarified
1. Is there a mono option in ur44c as in ur22c?
2. 6 inputs in Cubasis iPad, but how many outputs (mono) does it show in Cubasis?
3. Can i send daw/mainstage mono out through a single L or R channel?
4. Does direct monitoring run 4 inputs to 4 outputs on ur44c as compared to other brand interfaces?
Did you end up finding how many outs it send on Cubasis?

Unlike the Scarlet 2i2 the Steinberg UR22C has MIDI connections which I regretfully overlooked, I wish I got that instead of the 2i2.
For the ur24c, can it be used without a computer if needed? I want to but it but I want to make sure before. Thank touy
It would need to record somewhere via USB. That's where a computer comes in...
Is the 8 the upgrade from the MR816? I still need Firewire...LOL and old USB for my Mac.
Nice try,but your "student collaboration" example using headphone output is incorrect.
The Headphone 1 and headphone 2 outputs are different than just splitting a headphone jack output or using a headphone breakout out box , where multiple listeners have the same headphone signal.
The headphone 1 can have the out put mix 1 signal output while the headphone 2 can have either or both output mix 1 signal and/or output mix 2.
That is why there are 2 headphone outputs.

What’s the difference between the ur22c compared to 24c?
Unfortunately, the UR44c has 6 outputs, but only 4 of them are individual outputs. What a pity!!!

32bit is pointless if the noise floor is so high (pointless anyway really). They seem like great interfaces for streaming but why do they insult our intelligence with this 'non feature' ?
