  • Replacement of turn signal or fog light bulb in 2005 Cadillac SRX.
Removing housing and replacing the bulb
Remove the 6 torx screws from the perimeter of the light housing, then the four that hold the chrome plastic part to the clear lens piece.
Be sure to squeeze the plastic part on the in-board side of the fog lens to release the tensioner that is there to aim the fog lamp

That was a great way on the how to......you are the first i have seen do this for the Cadillac SRX. I have a 2005 and had the same issue but i changed the bulb along with the sockets just so in case. The sockets were real cheap, 10 dollars at Advance Auto. I did both sides and was successful. Thx again and pls post anything else you repair for the car.

Probably not ripping you off per the time, but if you've got some time, it's not very tough to do

Without needing to take out the housing, turn the backside of the bulb connector 1/4 turn counter-closckwise, mine took some muscle, and it twisted right out of the housing. Switch the bulb out of the connector and twist it back in clock-wise until it locks. (Wings should be parallel with the ground)
