Thank you, I’m 41 and today I’ve realized I probably have this. My dad was diagnosed just over a year ago. I’ve seen in myself the hairloss on my shins, a few soars that won’t go away-keep scabbing over on my legs, weak low energy in legs for as long as I can remember. I’m 5’8 and have his gut also lol….So, my Real question is what would you do if you could go back to your 40 year old self knowing what u know today.?? Any advice?? Thank you for this channel.

I'm sorry to your father and you. First off I'd say you need to find a good vascular surgeon, if you have Facebook search and join Peripheral Artery disease (Pad) Support. The person who runs it can give you names of great vascular surgeons, you don't want just anyone.
Also, I'm not a dr and just trying to figure out what works best for me.
For what I would tell myself... First off I would absolutely stop eating any carbs. I can tell now that the inflammation that comes from eating carbs makes my symptoms worse, even though I'm doing really good and don't usually have any anymore. Also my a1c wasn't high enough for Dr's to ever care but now that I look back, mine was in the pre-diabetes range.
2nd, I would definitely make sure I was taking fish oil.
3rd. Walk.... I walk almost everyday. I bought a treadmill and walk on an incline every time I walk. Sometimes 10% incline but most days I walk at 2.5-3% incline.

Wow!! I just found out I have PAD but I’ve had diabetes for years and neuropathy in my feet ulcers toe amputations ect .. Just had an angioplasty but they said no stents were needed but artery in my left leg from knee down Is 100 blocked but the artery on side is large and supplying the blood flow I haven’t had my follow up yet so idk if their gonna do anything I’m on plavix too. My dad swears if i do carnivore it’ll cure my diabetes I just wish I liked meat as much as he does . Hope your doing well

Thanks and I'm doing really well. I agree with your dad that going carnivore would absolutely cure your diabetes. If you have trouble with just eating just meat you could try keto. I've heard of lots of people fixing their diabetes with keto also. Sorry to hear about you having pad also, and having a 100% blockage. Lately I haven't been very carnivore but have been doing a ton of fasting. I hope things go well for you.

The first signs of my blood clots started in 2018 and got worse in 2019. I didn’t have my first surgery until 2020 but my clots weren’t from the jab. A lot of the time this is the first thing people ask me and now it’s the first thing I state when telling someone.
