Very nice. I love building places like this. Mine's not as nice, but I like it. I spend alot of time there between events and waiting for friends to log in, so I try to make it as comfortable as possible.
I adore how compact your camps are Jawa! Like a beautiful katamari cube of wasteland junk! Wonderful! I especially love the cooking area in this one !🤩
holy shit this is the cutest camp i've ever seen!!! i can only _dream_ of making something so cute and compact. I always get overzealous and spread too far
Hey, WyrdSimi, thanks very much! Yes, it can be tempting to build larger camps - and they can often look great! - but I do like to try and keep things compact for many of my own builds.
Are you using a mod for the eaves? I see them in a lot of your builds and can't figure out what is attached to the fences coming off the roof. Thanks! And awesome builds by the way. You should have WAY more subs. Keep on doing what ur doing it will come 😊❤
Hi, MyInkieFingers, and thanks so much for the positive vibes! I'm building using the standard items; I like to use roof pieces below the flooring to add those spiky bits that can be seen - and I use the floor defensive wooden wall pieces to create a space to put the door entance covers on.
@@jawafour Thank You I appreciate the reply. If I may ask for further clarification, what is the piece (or set it's in) attached/merged with the wall on the upper right-hand corner of the house at 3:50 in the video? I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. I've never seen anyone else use it. Thanks so much AGAIN 😁😁
@@MyInkieLife Hey, Inkie, I just looked - I think you may mean the chain link fences? I got them as part of a "Haunted House" bundle quite a while back. Bethesda often changes up the bundles but hopefully the chain fences will return to the Atomic Shop at some point!
Very nice!! What can ruin the look of a camp (imho) is when people place every single decoration they have, even if it doesn't fit the camp *site*. Gorgeous camp, too, may I add.
Thanks so much, TheOriginalPhatMan! It can take time to collect items/furnishings but I'm sure you'll gradually gain more things whilst playing :-). One you have a selection you can try using some of them in different styles of build.
Jawa this looks amazing! Please let me know how you do those perimeter fence pieces on the roof ends. They’re already such a pain in the ass to work with 😂
Thanks, brandon! The wood perimeter pieces need to be attached to flooring... but, once you have placed the flooring, you can remove it and the wood fences remain there :-). This can be very useful for placing the fencing alongside other types of defence pieces to create a fortified look.
Thank you for taking the tour, Xatrix! Unfortunately I don't have a PC for creating/editing vids. I may try and do a very simple tips one in the future, using my PS4.
This looks like a 2x6 foundation platform? I may copy this and put my own twist on it. I do like the fact that it looks like it actually fits in the world of FO.
Hi, Kayvel. It's pretty much 2x3 but with some additional walkway/stone wall space at the back of the build. Yeah, it'd be fun to create your own version and add a few twists to it :-).
Hi, fatforlife, and thanks for subscribing! I don't have a PC totalk/edit video clips but I will think about what i can do in a similar style on my PS4 :-).
Hey, Prince, the good thing about this build is that you don't need to burn/destroy anything; it's just a case of placing things "in order" to get that closely-aligned look. All build items have a "frame" that can't cross with other objects, but some items have other graphical elements that can... and in this way we can create an appearance of "overlapping" that looks realistic.
@@jawafour But... but, I like burning things. It makes the "last boss" of the newest expedition extra cwispy... also lasts like 2 seconds XD I'm somewhat aware of that fact, its how I used to do my kitchens using the Tool Cabinet stuff as well as encase the ranger tower with a wall, but still, how damn long did it take you? I don't think I have that patience... or time XD
@@Prince_Smugarina Yeah, burning can be a big part of the building toolset and you have to do it for some creations. Haha, it's good for enemies, too! And, yes, it sure can take a lot of time and patience to build stuff :-).
hitthedeck, I am looking forward to the updated Fallout 4 as I've not played much of it before! I will need to get to grips with the slightly different way of building in that game :-).
