These guys have been SOOO helpful for by iliotibial band knee issues. The basic key (stretching aside for the IT band) is massaging the area. If not a tear, all these things seem to be tension / tightness related...so as soon as you release the tension, etc...away goes the pain. Thank you guys...!

Wow, this works! I have had periodic cramp type pain in my right foot for months. Went to podiatrist, PT person, tried orthotics which helped but nothing would reliably take pain away. Then I tried this. Figured out that source of pain was actually coming from ankle area and rubbed tendon for a few minutes. Voila - foot pain gone! If I have a day where it acts up, I do the tendon message again and it does the trick. Thanks so much! You guys have helped me so many times.

Doing this on my patellar tendonitis (jumpers knee) was like taking a magic potion or something. I had 6+ months of knee pain when putting any load on my left knee (stairs were the worst; jumping was downright impossible), and doing this for 2-3 minutes completely resolved all my pain. I do it every other day and its an absolute *MIRACLE* for knee pain, I still don't understand how it works so well, but my god, it got rid of all my tendon pain in that gimpy knee, just like I never had it. Most bizarre thing I've ever seen, but this video pretty much gave me my life back. Unreal.

This saved my life its so good. My 3rd 4th and 5th nerve on lower left spine were so pinched and spine twisted I couldn't move or walk and the pain went straight down around my hip to putter and inner thigh. After chiropractor visits which helped so much and stopped the back pain,my thigh also had tendernitis I was in bad shape. After 2 months it still hurt to walk with pain in thigh so bad nothing was working until I tried this and it worked right away the pain went away so quickly. It comes back a little but not nearly as much and its gotten so much better within 2 days. This is a life changer.

........it extends into your calf muscle as well. You'll be able to tell this by massaging your calf between your index finger & thumb & you will notice that just the slightest squeeze on the calf muscle will be painful with only a small amount of pressure. You should massage it daily & in about two weeks the pain sensitivity will completely disappear as you express the inflammation out of the calf muscle with very deep massage.

When doing the knee, are you rubbing the patellar ligament or quadraceps tendon?
Google images for knee tendons shows it is the patellar ligament below the knee cap.
Is it safe to do the same thing above the knee-cap on the quadraceps tendon?

Very effective for peroneal tendonitis just flex your feet a little bit then work on that tendon that aches a little bit and later on you'll feel better and the pain slowly goes away in just about a minute of rubbing

I got one of those middle of the night leg cramps that hurt you awake but this one's stronger than the ones before. It's day 4 and it's still there. I can walk but if I point my toes or do walk the stairs, I feel slight leftover tension and pain from it. Any massages for that?
