what will you need for running a 11,1V lipo set up safely in this gun, if it wasnt being upgrade any parts. Good video bro, i want to upgrade several parts to gain power and stability on this just to be a perfect DMR. Gun is a very good platform but needs to upgrade. With this i have a very good idea of what i can do, thanks for that!
I have a question: At the pharse you test the nozzle at rest position and hop-up chamber, the nozzle sit little backwards a bit than the rest position ( fullly foward ), is it will be perfect when it sit at fully forward or little back ( like in the video ) is better ?
When it comes to that. Generally, you want at least 1mm of push back when you push the hopup against the gearbox. At the same time you need to cycle the nozzle all the way back and test to make sure your bbs will enter the chamber.
@jovannyfeliciano6604 I ended up swapping in the original hopup arm that are normally in those Prowin hopups. Field tested it and this sr25 accuracy was still ridiculous.
my list of sr25's not to buy are as follows G&G Ares Golden Eagle. they all have the same issue which is they don't have an extended cylinder. out of the 3 the Ares is the worst with a gearbox made from tinfoil. it can barely handle a m110 spring. let alone a m130. instead get a cyma, classic army, E&C, or even an A&K. all are better than either one of those 3. i could care less for the etu in the g2 gb and ares fcu and if you are going to make the gearbox longer, don't wase the space. however if you have the $750 you can hpa the G&G and have your kac trades and outstanding externals
@Greendore Equality as simple id say but the Double Eagle has an elongated cylinder and has quick change spring just like the Cyma Platinum SR25. I highly recommend the DB over the GE SR25. Get the Cyma if you can afford it.
@wyshtechairsoft @wyshtechairsoft Thank you for the reply. I want it as a base gun because i want to learn how to tech. I know what goes where and what does what but i need a platform to start on. Looks like it'll be the double bell! Cheers again.
Good video ninja. Your gonna be the sr25 guru in no time.
Haha thanks man. I might be already. Also, I got another sr25 video being edited. That'll be next.
I would call the GE SR-25k a battle rifle and not a DMR it’s more for the DMR AR-10 look but with M4 performance
Either way, its a bad airsoft gun imo.
Nicely done. Thanks.
Thanks! Hope it helps!
M130 made it shoot 2.7J? Your usual build use 470mm iirc yet this build with 363mm resulted to 2.7.
The trick is knowing the air volume ratio for a specific weight of bb. Knowing this and how to do it properly results in instances such as this.
@@wyshtechairsoft correct. So you're saying the customer of your previous builds just prefer to use .40s on a .36 build?
@sabby0229 Yes. Sometimes even .48g bbs which require an even shorter barrel (not by much) to get that 1 fps difference and hardly any muzzle "pop".
I want to see you mod the gearbox to fit elongated cylinder plzzzzzz I think it can be done
I would but I dont have the rifle anymore.
@@wyshtechairsoft I happen to have a fresh one sitting right here omg 😲 what are the chances 🤣 🤣 🤣 👀👀

Everything in this video is made for a 11.1v lipo.
What mags fit the golden eagle sr25K I really need to know please and thank you
Any cyma, classic army, avengers brand sr25 mag.
Do you think it would be possible to mount Gerbox Retro Arms SR 25 here?
It will not fit. I explain why near the beginning of the video.
sad to hear that, so always go with A&K xD@@wyshtechairsoft
@lehlong1976 LOL Yup. Totally. In fact, get a golden eagle, so you definitely can't swap the gearbox.

Are you talking about when I test the nozzle length for proper seal to the hopup unit?
yes man!@@wyshtechairsoft

What nub you used for that hop up set up?
I used a maple leaf omega nub. My apologies! I forgot to mention that in the video.
@@wyshtechairsoft also did u use the flat umbrella arm or the the one with the little curve at the tip where the nub sits?
@jovannyfeliciano6604 I ended up swapping in the original hopup arm that are normally in those Prowin hopups. Field tested it and this sr25 accuracy was still ridiculous.
@@wyshtechairsoft i ask because the umbrella armory hopup arm you have on the video is flat . And the omega nub have that curve on top
@@jovannyfeliciano6604 Great observation! Yea, I lost the footage when I made the changes and mods to that hopup.

G&G motors really like to short
Yup, I don't use them anymore. This build got a brushless motor.
Good thing I asked ya to upgrade before ya ship it out...that gearbox does look atrocious...🤣🤣🤣
Yours is a Double Bell SR25 bud. This is a different sr25 hehe
@@wyshtechairsoft Would you say the double bell is better to work on?
@Greendore Equality as simple id say but the Double Eagle has an elongated cylinder and has quick change spring just like the Cyma Platinum SR25. I highly recommend the DB over the GE SR25. Get the Cyma if you can afford it.

I want to see if you can swap the gearbox in the matrix poly body couldn't u mod that body to fit an a&k gearbox?
