- A very great surprise!
This fragrance is year-round, as the citrus dies down and the cedar and leather come up, you can enjoy it always.
Cedrat Biose is a much more refined and upfront cedar, and the Solei Deitali is more fresh aquatic citrus, but Aqua Gold resembles them both.
And yes, I do need them as well..LOL

It has a familiar scent to me but I can't really put my finger on which one...
It's definitely nothing ground breaking, but the opening and the drydown almost belong to 2 different fragrances. 2 in 1
I love this one, but die not give it a lot of wearings. I spray it sometimes in the evening after the shower, it works kinds calming for me🙂.
After some hours it gets more of a skinscent i guess, of i go noseblind to it?
What are your thoughts on longevity? Thx

At the beginning its very strong and remains for 4 hr, that lighter cedar but I cat still smell it.
This one depends on how much I spray, I like that on a frag, I control the performance.
@@polly2018 i sprayed it last night and after wakening up, i can still smell it on my arm😁. So i think i got a little noseblind to it yesterday.

@@polly2018 I bought this Bc I was told it’s a better version of the JV. I have the jv but the performance sucks. Scent profile seems similar. Bright opening citrus and woody dry down
How many hours does it take to persist and spread?
It's very very long lasting!
Depending on how much you spray, but 6 - 8 hours are a given of awareness to the fragrance.
It's a great fragrance for a man!

Never smelled it but I believe you. I love it, but I do not find it unique, it is very balanced to be unisex with a terrific performance, as you said "on steroids".
This one I hated 😅 it was a huge NO neither hubby and I liked it too spicy and strong for our taste it is definitely more of men’s fragrance . To me it smells like a cheap Avon cologne but 10x stronger I regret buying it for sure

Montale is sooo finicky! Body chemistry, amount spray and how, how long it stands, time of year.... as much as I love them I also struggle with them.
