If Robin got pregnant in January (right after they moved to Vegas) and delivered in October, she would’ve been around 36 weeks when she delivered Solomon. I propose, Robin was already expecting before they moved, which was the REAL emergency to move closer to Robbins mother asap. 😅

I had to borrow against mine after a work injury and because I could show all of the medical bills, I didn’t pay a penalty but I believe I ended up taxed for it. It took several years to get even on the amount I had before. Just remembered, you can take $ out for hardship, but you need proof. I just love the sensibility and speculations of James, Jennifer, Sarah and Amanda. IMO, you always nail it.
Isn’t it likely the money for the move to Vegas came largely from TLC? We know every time they film an event, the Brown’s get some bank and TLC covers a lot of the costs - the vacations, weddings, honeymoon. I’m sure there was some incentive from TLC to move, to up the drama for the show. The book would not have been a big seller if the series wasn’t taking off.

Regarding Kody presenting himself as their husband but is only legally married to Meri at this time (around the 1:24 timestamp): It's my understanding that the bigamy laws in Utah at the time included people who claimed to be married to multiple people even if they weren't trying to pursue multiple, fraudulent legal marriages and had only 1 legal marriage. So just claiming to have multiple wives, even without paperwork was considered bigamy in Utah. I don't know if the law has changed since then or not. I think the bigamy laws were written that way a long time ago when Utah first got statehood in an effort to stamp out polygamy because eliminating polygamy was one of the conditions the federal gvt required of Utah for acceptance into the United States as a state.
