Well you made my day. I am glad that you liked the stamps. Your enthusiasm for collecting is what makes me continue to watch and encourage others to play into forward. I am glad that it made it to you with out getting damaged. I worked for the Post Office for 31 years and I make sure the mail I send is well packaged. I just retired and spending more time with my stamps. I am going to go back binge your previous video s and get another group for you. In your world wide stamp collecting, do you want mint or used. You and your family have a wonderful weekend and as always Happy Collecting Ken
You're so kind! I'm hinging worldwide stamps currently so used, please... and if there's something specific you're looking for let me know, or I'll just put together a packet of fun...
I really am happy for you with the friends you have accumulated. you have a fantastic channel, and I think with all that you have I do believe that the friends would love to spend more time on your channel. Thanks pal.
Lord help us in your interruptions in your stories - and we are getting to know them well! Space stamps, train stamps, ship stamps, Zeppelin stamps, “the ducks”, old stamps, new stamps, sheets, blocks, pairs, mint never hinged…lololol - you make me laugh in every episode my friend! 😂😂👍
I started collecting coins and then stamps in the early seventies. Some of my fondest memories from that time is gathering my collection and meeting with a group of around 5 or 6 fellow collectors to trade and some times buy or sell outright. I can still remember some of the trades one time I bought a baseball mitt for a friend in exchange for a Trade Dollar. Many of our trade would be non traditional, what fun.
"Ah ducks!"... I love your passion for your hobby but of course it is much more than just a hobby! I don't have too many US stamps but I'll keep my eye out for you.
When I see your videos in my notification list it is with such expectation that I view them, and I am never disappointed. Thank you for this video! Wonderfully generous gift you got! The stamp community is so generous and special. Like the new album as well.
Love the album I would assume this is a mint unhinged album. I'm still trying to figure out the ways I would like to display my collection, but I've found it depends on the stamps or items related. Happy hunting and most of all have fun with the Hobbie. Fellow 35 yr plus collector 😊
Agreed! One of my favorite parts of the hobby... so many little projects you can undertake, working towards a system that you like best... I finally feel like I'm closing in on it!
Yea I have been collecting for about 30 years and it’s gotten so much out of hand that I’ve converted a room in my house into a PHILATELIC LIBRARY! Sometimes I sleep in there.
Thank you for another great video Mr Silk , it's good to see you with your stamps. I will have to look and see if i have any for you . I generally collect GB pre-decimal stamps and i agree that having a good album like the davo or Windsor stamp album really gives the best start for a good collection. Let me know if you are looking for any GB stamps. What a good idea to start a swap club 🙂. Happy New year Mr Silk, Terry from Devon uk .
Hi Silk. Just got a Chicago prexanel from St Paul. In an album I bought. Love your videos. When's part2 of 2 cigar boxes video coming. Best regards from James in Scotland. Ps are you just trading with USA subscribers.
Very cool! And yes, I'd be happy to trade with you... thanks for asking... part 2 of the Cigar Box videos will be coming out this week, once I figure out what story to tell. A lot to choose from!
I would have love to have traded. I have sent you messages regarding items you have shown that I was interersted in but you have never replied to me not even just to say "I am not interested in trading at the present time.
I am a Gb collector currently working on Jersey so unfortunately do not have any US stamps to trade but am learning loads about them from your infectious vids. I wish I could afford Davo albums but they are very expensive in the uk, your collection is coming along nicely, I’m jealous!

My family thinks I am insane when I get hyper exited over certain stamps. I'm just glad I'm not the only one.
My work here is done!
Very cool
3:28 (1941 - A world at War) and 4:38 (1942 - Into the Battle) will be on their way to Minnesota next week.
Thank you!!
Just a gas watching you open up some of these packages!! Cool vid!!
Your enthusiasm is infectious.
Hope that's a good thing! :)
@@silkontheweb Absolutely!
The old rule of thumb was, DO NOT purchase a stamp album that costs MORE than the stamps it will hold.
Definitely a school of thought... though I'm after the set of USA, and can't wait to see them all on the shelf... :)

Shoot... I haven't gotten them?!? You emailed my channel's email address?
I made comments in the videos
Ah, please feel free to drop me an email if you'd like to trade... I try to respond to as many comments as I can, but I'm better with emails...

Such a drawback... they are so pricey... but as I tell Mrs. Silk, I could be restoring an old car....... :)
