Great job on the comparisons, especially on the voltage output. I'm a proud owner of two GB40s for 4+ years, one in each vehicle. Works great on 4 cylinders, but sometimes requires a few tries on 6 cylinders with a dead battery. And unfortunately, unsuccessful a few weeks ago with the unit on 75% charge. Looking to upgrade to either the GB70 or GBX55, respectively. Not many reviews online about the GBX55, so yours was very helpful. Thanks...

oh wow thanks, i do appreciate that! For the low price I'm considering purchasing the GB40 again because mine seems shot and its so light weight

How many jumpstart boosts do you have a full battery off the gbx 155? Or how many times you used it before it’s battery completely out and you need to put it on recharge again

I will keep this question in mind and TRY to make notes of the types of vehicles and how many I manage to jump start before the box begin to fail at its duty.
Ive yet to drain it completely but I do recall jumpstarting 5 separate vehicles and 1 of them the battery was completely shot so i had to jump the same one twice later that day. one time i did jump start a big Freightliner and ended up with 3 bars left. though that truck with 2 batteries started right up I believe I may have been able to jump maybe 3 more times before it started to not start trucks. As far as smaller vehicles or even medium duty trucks goes like a F-350/F-450 the GBX155 may be able to jump start 6-10 times.

Great video. I carry a GBX155 in my Ram 2500 Cummins and one in my wife’s SUV. Great piece of gear. I got them on a Black Friday deal for 35% off.

      Hi,
Do you keep it in the trunk in the summer mos? I was reading that above 120F the battery should not be kept.

@@arturoortuno1841 Im not sure about everyone else but YES I do keep my GBX55 and GBX155 in my trunk. My X55 is kept just behind the rear seats (but in the trunk) incase my car dies... and my X155 is in a nice NOCO case and it sits very low in my trunk and even after my car being in direct sunlight for some 8-9 hrs the X155 surprisingly is not hot to the touch. If i remember I will do a real time video showing you ambient temps and car interior temps and temps of both boxes.

I have the gb50 and the volt is only at 12.4. I guess if your going to get the noco, it's best the get the gbx series.

Can you run the car on GBX155 without a battery for longer than 60 seconds, and what is the longest time you could do it with the GBX155 (if the alternator is not working you could drive the car to the shop if it is close) . . .
